So it seems there is no b-stage songs this time out? Looks like the stage set up is the same. Did they venture out to the middle of the field more often ...or perform any songs out there? In the past Keith & Ron would venture out during Miss you if I recall...and last time Mick did the duet out there for Gimmme Shelter. I like the B stage set!!!

I approved to shoot/photograph this event but can't make it for a variety of reasons. Neil will be missed this year but Willie is an absolute musical treasure. Catch him while you can as he won't be around forever and will be greatly missed when that time comes. Some of the other artists on the bill I like more than others but I really admire Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.

Listening to Hampton 81 on my commute and couldn't help think how cool his horn would sound in a stadium on this tour. Yes, the Stones music is not as loose as in '81 but I would still love to hear him live again. I really like Karl Denson as well. If they can play with Taylor again then anything is possible.

I kind of get your point as there can be a corp feel to their live shows. I think a few club shows would help cure that as they can be a kick ass live band. They certainly have the material. I personally love the MT years but am also a huge fan of Ronnie Wood.
