Quotewith sssoul Mercy: Mick Taylor doesn't "embody" either of those tracks. Loving Cup is a piano-driven number and Mick T didn't play on the studio version. His slide is lovely on All Down the Line but it's only part of what makes the track great. I reckon that on the 2014 tours Mick T is playing on what he wants to play on. Is that a serious comment? You act

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotetreaclefingers QuoteSvartmer I think that video is rather pathetic. He´s been bragging about the fantastic structure of that song in a million interviews by now. That man is really living in the past. Well if I wrote and recorded that song I'd be doing the exact same thing. It probably isn't obvious to Svartmer that it's simply for the reissues... one o

Quoteandrea66 Maybe because was my 1st concert in 1982, I am always in love with under my thumb as opener. For Adelaide, I wanna take my risk and say " satisfaction " . I agree with Under my thumb, that was a good opener.

Quotekeefriffhard4life QuoteNaturalust Damn, I am just getting educated about all the plagiarism Page and Plant did in Led Zep. Some very obvious rip off's that were not properly credited! There is no question that Zeppelin was able to make those tunes their own and I love the way they interpreted them, but to try to steal the writing credit is wrong and unforgivable. I like the way R

QuoteDoxa QuoteNaturalust Bob's not playing guitar? What's up with that? I thought most of his tunes were based around his guitar playing. I can however imagine that the band was tight without his playing guitar since I've heard he tends to do his own thing regardless of what was rehearsed, which would obviously be difficult for the band. peace He plays a lot of piano these

Quotekeefriffhard4life i am about 60 pages in. does it get any better? right now nothing is really grabbing me. i have read three books this year by other musicians, neil young, ray davies and eric clapton, and they all caught my attention pretty quickly. the stones are my favorite band so maybe my expectations were too high but right now after about 60 pages this one isn't hitting the mark

It would be very interesting to get some inside information about Taylor´s contribution. I can´t help but wonder why he´s willing to put up with being some kind of special guest gig after gig. Is the money that good?

The great response to the relatively obcsure song Out of control could hopefully be a hint that it´s possible for them to play some lesser known songs whitout losing the crowd (it´s still a few weeks to Stockholm...)

Can you help bring him back? f.stf.ck pic? What does that mean? In this case it means a man who performs a thorough examination of his own bowel. Not especially Stones related.

Quotedcba @ Svartmer : The future lies in HD formats. CD is dead it's an outdated relic from the 80's. Even if Page (and Kev Shirley?) put all their hearts and skills into the remasters they'd still sound like crap on CD. "You can't make a silk purse..." and all that. Of course it´s possible to make improvements on cd, there are many examples of that, but t

This is a major disappointment, I can´t hear any difference at all from earlier remasters, in fact some songs sound better on Mothership. And the bonus material - a couple of outtakes, some intrumentals, some live stuff - doesn´t motivate this release. Mr Page has milked the cow again...

Did I miss anything or was he k

Because it's ridiculous to expect to get a professional and high quality show if you are paying $200 or more? The Stones behave like a company so they will be damn well judged like one. You're
