Just to spice up the set-lists, what song from a solo album would you like the Big 4 to play? My list: Mick - Lucky in Love Keith - Hate It When You Leave Ronnie - Breathe on Me Charlie - Roll 'em Pete OK so the Charlie one is from the Rocket 88 LP, but wo cares?

In Paris, Amsterdam, Bergen and Horsens there was a "Golden Circle" - tickets more expensive, but gets you into what used to be called the "pit". The size depended on the size of venue, and the crowd was everything from very relaxed (most places) to aggressive (Paris). To get to the front you just need to enter this area early. You could get tickets outside from touts (sca

The set list in 1972 included Torn and Frayed (not played live again until 2002) and Ventilator Blues (don't think this has made it again). I think it was the first gig on the tour. In total 9 songs off of Exile. Maybe that memory will inspire the end of Tour set-list this time....

Yet another interesting read from Chuck. the music and the lowdown on the tour changes. I am flying back across the Atlantic for this Friday's gig - so here's praying nothing else goes wrong ...this tour has been cursed more than the Johnny Depp's pirate.

Nothing new from Chuck for a couple of weeks - has he been telling us too much inside information and Mick has censored him?? Or just tired from 14 months on the road... It is usually an interesting and informative record of life on the road.

10.31.06 A Bigger Bang Tour Dates Rescheduled The Rolling Stones have been advised to take four days off from their "A Bigger Bang" world tour in order for singer Mick Jagger to properly recover from recent throat problems. The Oakland show will move from November 5 to November 6. The Los Angeles show will move from November 18 to November 22. The Vancouver show will move from Nove

da da da, dadada, da da da, dadada If I could play the drums for 2 hours aged 65 after an encounter with the big C, or run and sing non-stop for 2 hours at 63, or live that crazy life and still play for 2 hours at 63 also, or even try and keep up with Keith since 1975 even if a little younger, then I will be happy. So its not surprising that when one of the band starts to get ill, the docto

So I flew over Atlantic, along I guess with many others, and one can only assume for valid reasons (I don't believe the conspiracy theory guys - sorry) the band has to cancel. Another set of wasted flights and hotels - but in a great cause. Come to think of it, I guess 95% of people attending tonight in Atlantic City (the armpit of the east coast resorts) have travelled for the gig...

When will this concert (Thanksgiving Day) be confirmed? Anyone know? Talking in Bergen, Copenhagen and Paris to people very close to the band it seemed a done deal.

This newspaper report seems strange. All the other musicians were staying in London (so had a 3 hour return journey after cardiff), and band members went home.

Correct - private jet directly after the Horsens gig - I assume from Kastrup, but my source (who was due on the 'plane) did not know.

Great gig last night; best seats I have had forthe seven gigs this tour so far (3 in Europe), and the cheapest! Fan Club tickets for Row 6&7 Block A3 (ie centre seats right by the main stage) were £60 each! I didn't believe it until I had the tickets in my hand. Others around us were similarly amazed when they got theirs. So moan all you like about the prices, but at least at Twick

I saw him at Earls Court 1976 (my first Stones gig). I didn't like the "interval" of his songs (2 from keith would have been infinitely better), but playing was good, and personal interplay (chemistry, dancing, singing etc.) with Mick was excellent. But Chuck is much more rounded as a keyboard player!

Reading the statement, looks like a European Arena tour over the winter or next summer in the stadiums. Also fits in with Charlie not wanting world tours - its just Europe! Remember they did this before when the socialist government here in the Uk changed the tax rules on the Babylon tour - so they re-scheduled gigs into 1999 - and No security tour appeared in the US that spring.... There is an implied "free" week at the start of July to do the Nordic dates - before Nurnberg. They could do 4/5 gigs with a free day between each. Then some of the postponed gigs would work outdoors in Sept (Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Athens, Zagreb, Milan). Then some stadiums have a roof (Millenium stadium in Wales) - so move the covered stadiums later to find gaps.... Here in th

Postponing both Paris shows probably means that they will run two shows there close together - a day off between them. Sounds like early September, when the weather in Paris is perfect, but not in the Nordics. So a fairly major overhaul of the tour to make the logistics easy, especially now they know how many they have sold for each venue. No wonder this takes time to organise - its like start

Sounds to me like they (ie the Band) know when Keith can a) fly to Europe; b) rehearse and c) start touring. Now its up to Michael Cohl to sort out the schedule! Thats what he does for a living; thats what the band employs him for. Lets also remember the flight from NZ to Europe is 24 hours - so Connecticut is also a good place to take a break/ lose some jetlag, not to mention the effects of

Patience is a virtue - whether you are trying to recover from a real health scare (and who knows how serious it was, but also who wants their private life broadcast daily to the world) or waiting for the tour dates to be confirmed. I have tickets for Paris, Bergen and Gotenborg - so getting close. But I prefer they make the decision at the last minute so that its the right one - too early and
