And my Packers take the North after thumping the Vikes with Aaron Jones and defense. Now they need to beat the Lions and then we become Seahawks' fans for Sunday evening. The North is not enough indeed.

Both SLF and The Avengers were great here in Madison. Both bands brought their passion and fire to a receptive throng. Dynamite school night show.

Nick's new release is incredible, probably the best of 2019. I'd also push you to Sincere Engineer, a great Chicago band with great licks and snarky wit led by Deanna Belos.

It's funny that the thread is entitled "bands of today" and almost all the performers are from the seventies/eighties. I was listening to The Struts today and thought they can do the glam Stones thing quite well.

My favorite is the cobra stage. The lotus stage wasn't used for outdoor shows in '75, so we made do with a predominately peamockly (my dad's word to describe that particular hue) green stage (and band outfits for that matter) at Milwaukee's County Stadium.

A couple people stated they didn't see an bootleg shirts after the show on Friday. Well, the were out on Tues; I saw 3 or 4 different shirts and, at $20, they were quite the bargain over the faux bootleg (parking lot?) shirts selling at the stands for $45. Better quality as well.

440 row 18...then we went to the resolution desk and were the last two before they shut it down. After some haggling, we wound up with 117. Quite a jump and thanks to the poster(s) who mentioned the resolution desk from Friday.

Pick up our Lucky Dip tix ($26 each) and find we're in almost the last row of section 440 - we could've touched the top of the Sears Tower from there. Doors are supposed to open at 5:30, but 6pm rolled around before the gates opened. Our tickets didn't scan so we went to the resolution counter where I explained Lisa couldn't handle the height ; at first, we were told there was

Ended up getting similar seats in Milwaukee to the seats we had for the last Bowie show at the same venue. Of course, the last Milwaukee show I saw on April 1 was 1977, when Iggy played with Blondie opening when a mop topped Bowie played keys for Mr. Osterberg.

Neil was dandy last night in Madison, in front of a very appreciative audience. He played the shit out of Harvest and avoided jukebox calls - well, he did play "Heart of Gold" but it was only the second time I've heard it in 20+ shows over the decades. Now, back to Jo Ann Kelly - oh my
