The Rolling Stones (or Keith Richards specifically) probably drew his/their inspiration from Wilkin's Nine-plus minute performance at the Newport Folk and Blues festival in 1962.

Using this little freeware spectrum analyzer. I checked a 128kbps file before expanding it into an editor (as a wav) then re-encoded it back to a 128kbps file.
