Amazingly there was a glitch at the beginning of 'I Think I'm Going Mad' on the first pressings of the singles set. I think they subsequently corrected it did they not?

Sterling work a big thankyou to bigtyke66 and Godxofxrock9. The audience harmony singing on JJF is a great feature of the show. It comes over loud and clear in the audience recordings but is less prominent in the soundboard/DVD soundtrack.

Quotestonehearted Wait, you mean Houses Of The Holy doesn't count? No? OK, we'll move on then.... Anyway, glad to see an unblocked image of Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking. I always hated how they put that black bar over it back in the day. I'll have to locate a (unblocked) CD copy. By the way, I think they left one off the list: mmm! she was a bonnie lass - was she not?

I reckon 'You Beat Me' sounds like it could have been the 'inspiration' behind 'off the hook'. The Stones have certainly had a few of these inspirations in the early days - such as Stoned - Green Onions - Booker T and the MGs Little By Little - Shame Shame Shame - Jimmy Reed Good Times Bad Times - Key To The Highway (Broonzy or traditional)

Thanks for reposting Rolling on. Also a big thankyou to the original audience recorders and to the remixing efforts of Jimmy Shelter and Strettonbull.

Thanks Strettonbull I'm keen to hear your results I'm sure they will be excellent. Unfortunately I've been unable so far to download but will keep trying. I also noticed that we now have a soundboard of the full show. Before either showed up I did a mix of the two audience recordings setting one as Left channel and one as right with a little bit of volume tweaking in places.

I suppose they could go for a completely new album - this would involve a creative surge which given the evidence of the last 8 years would seem to be a real struggle for them. The other route would be a type of Tattoo-You-2 project. In another thread on the board a discussion is going on about all the discarded outtakes (we know about) over the last 40 odd years. Surely there is great potential

I believe one of Bobby Bland's songs was part of the Little Boy BLue and The Blue Boys recordings. 'I Don't Want No Woman' Was it part of the early Stones playlist? RIP Bobby.

QuoteRoughJusticeOnYa One Hit to the Body - played in Rotterdam, in 1990; but other than that, I wouldn't know...?! It was played quite a few times on the 89 US tour. There is at least one soundboard circulating from the Toronto concert 3rd Sept 89.

This outtake has been circulating for many years yet it's always sounded to me like there is a skip at the beginning just at the 11 second mark. Has anyone come across a version without the skip?

In defence of The Quo I think they produced some great singles during their Golden period which lasted from the late 60s throughout the 70s. Tracks such as 'In My Chair' , 'Down The Dustpipe', 'Living On An Island' are three that spring to mind. The modern Quo I betcha can still put on a belter of a show. The two main front men seem to genuinely g

Off the top of my head there is one song which I've never liked "Where The Boys All Go" with the refrain "Where the Girls all Go" - cringeworthy IMO. Also a more modern song "Sweet Neocon" - musically fine, but the lyrics "you're just a piece of s**t" is dreadful - in all honesty I think I could have come up with some more cutting lyrics...wo

Quotestonehearted Quoterumple21 You have to wonder how Bill would be feeling about a 45 year old man having sex with one of his daughters when they were 14. Not too cool with it I suspect. Who can say? Having been there himself, he might understand where the hypothetical older gentleman caller would be coming from, what motivates him--that is, if one of his daughters displays any interest in a
