Of course everything comes down to the matter of individual taste, but when I say that the reviewer's musical knowledge is weak, I'm thinking of the examples he/she uses: The version of Happy, for instance, is pure bollocks - one of the worst versions ever! It's named as one of the greats. The Nearness Of You: Off course it's about fun. How little irony does the reviewer

<The reviewer got it completely right, and you know it.> Of course, some of it is correct, but picking on Jagger is childish. The reviewer's musical knowledge is at best weak.

Do you catch gigs in other countries as well? I heard some samples on your web-site, and it sounds good. I'm a bit surprised that Mathijs sounds more like Ronnie than Mick Taylor in his solos though. 100 years ago was great, Hey Negrita a bit lame. Keep on swinging!

Pick 10 songs from bootlegs (live) and make a compilation. Song, year and city: 1. Rock's Off, 1973, Perth 2. When The Whip Comes Down, 1978, Memphis (or Detroit. May be wrong credit on Handsome Girls-cover...) 3. All Down The Line, 1978, Detroit 4. Undercover, 1989, Atlantic City 5. Let's Spend The Night Together, 1981, Hampton 6. Heartbreaker, 1973, Brussels 7. Beast Of Burde

>Walk, don't look back? (It's kind of a cover....)> Did you like the version they played at the Aragon? I liked it, even though Mick tears it apart the first 45 seconds.

<No, it was done in the early sixties. Nice version available as well.> A live recorded version?

<Mannish Boy is novel but it's not classic in any way. They've done more intense versions on the last tour. Again Ronnie's twangings make it hard (for me) to take seriously.> Ronnie's twangings on the Licks-tour are awful. The 77-version is brilliant. BTW, Keith does some great stuff on this version, and Jagger's vocals are priceless.

Songs from both "Will Roger's" and Tarrant County" are on Handsome Girls. The Far Away Eyes version w/Kershaw even twice, I think.

The El Mocambo-show was way better than Knebworth. They just can't be compared. On El Mocambo the following songs are all great: -Dance Little Sister -Route 66 -Little Red Rooster -Cracking Up -Around And Around -Mannish Boy -Hand Of Fate Let's Spend The Night Together and Crazy Mama also sounds terrific (unfortunately, only clips of those songs...)

<NO WAY. In fact I think (and I'm pretty sure) Slash copied his way to hang the LP from Page.> More likely, he is copying Joe Perry (who also looks cool with the Les Paul.

If you wanna put on a similar show, it would be stupid to stand still and not even act similar to the band you're tributing. How interesting it is is another matter...

As low as poosible. It's rather stupid, because it's harder to play with the axe on your legs, but then again - it looks good
