Pick ONE song that you'd like to hear the Stones do a cover of on the new album.

Personally I'd like to hear them play "Pills" by Bo Diddley.

Nah, the New York Dolls already did a Stones-like cover of "Pills" on their first album back in '73. However, I WOULD like to hear the Stones' version of "Don't Start Me Talkin", which the Dolls covered on their second (and last) album.

"Personality Crisis" by The New York Dolls. And Kentish, stop undermining your value on this board by claiming we'll hate you due to a new topic. I'm old, faded, jaded, drugged out, slugged out... you name it. I LOVE to read your new polls! It keeps things fresh.

Now SHUT THE F*CK UP OR I WON'T GET YOU DRONK 'TIL YOU PUKE ALL OVER YER SHOES WHEN YER IN SEATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love to hear Mick & The Stones do an electric version of Robert Johnson's 32-20 Blues or Blind Willie McTell's - Scarey Day Blues....perfect for Micky Boy!!

Keith should do a cover of Howard Seratt's - Make Room In The Lifeboat For Me... It's just made for him.

Did you like the version they played at the Aragon?

I liked it, even though Mick tears it apart the first 45 seconds.

Hahahaha!!! I'm not thinking that you hate me man. It's just that sometimes there's SO many polls with "Best this" Best that" and so on. Someone bitched about it earlier (which is understandable).

So I guess you'll still get me drunk huh?

They should do "You Never Can Tell", it would also be a great opportunity for Bill to be a guest on stage when they play it live.

i think they should do the beatles get back...only the stones will beef it up, and make a much more rock version than the limp beatles sound

No "You Never Can Tell" for me. The version by Danish trio "SP, Just, Frost" is the best version ever. And it can't be topped.

I know they already played them before, but Key to the Highway (by Big Bill Broonzy) and Hoochie Coochie Man (by Willie Dixon) played live *again* would kill me.

Go here for starters:

[johnmooneylive.com]

Don't do anything. Well, the first song, 2 Get 2 Heaven (I don't understand why he does those goofy shortcuts but whatever), from his most recent album Big Ol' Fiya plays. But you can go play it in the site too. The title track is fantastic. And, ha ha, he covers Drink A Little Poison, which came out before Grayson's version did!

Go to Music, you can listen to the songs, volume at the bottom, etc...

Mooney is awesome. Probably the best slide player in the world.

Why not do like Springsteen and play songs like Mony Mony and Twist and Shout.
And pleeeease - no awful screaming from Lisa like she did on I'll Go Crazy.

why not "All along the watchtower" - Bob Dylan, one of the best rock song ever.
