Boston hotels are notoriously expensive, unfortunately, there are hardly any deals. If you want, you can stay at the Holiday Inn in Somerville, which is only a short walk and then 3 or 4 subway stops away. It's right down the street from my house. Or REALLY nice people can crash in my living room, LOL.

....and no where else can I spend $600 for something that will put me in a good mood for weeks, as well as giving me 2-2 1/2 hours of absolute enjoyment. Paul McCartney is OK, but don't get a rush from listening to him. The Who are half a Who now, the Stones are it, 5 of them onstage together....the ultimate feel-good event. No, I can't afford it, but so what, that is what credit card

The 2012 shows had a pricetag of $800 for most of the tickets, so $600 is a relative bargain!!

Angee, I'd have no problem paying $500+ if we ended up in the same section/rows we did at the PPV show---couldn't be any closer without being in the pit..... If that area is good enough for Bruce and Johnny Depp, it's good enough for me. (Section 11, closest to the stage- supposed to be obstructed/rear view, but other than not seeing the screen all the time, very good sightlines.

Rocks Off vocals blow me away. Every time I hear that song, I get goosebumps. On the other hand, when I listen to the Live Licks version, I want to vomit.

My version of "It's Only Black and Blue Goat's Head" (IOBaBGH) I'd keep the first 3 on IORR as they are, no space between ATPTB and IORR 1. If You Can't Rock Me 2. Ain't to Proud to Beg 3. (no pause) It's Only Rock and Roll 4. Memory Motel 5. Silver Train (one of my faves- and I know, it sounds like ADTL) 6. Hand of Fate 7. Dance Little Siste

Kinda glad I didn't end up that way. I wanted it in the worst way when I was younger, but it wasn't in the cards. But I got to be in a lot of bands and I got a taste of the whole thing- enough to know that I would have gone overboard if I had the money and connections, and would almost certainly be dead by now. Better to be alive and happy and able to enjoy the things I have than bei

LOVE music, hate sports. I have TRIED to like sports. I just find them boring. When I love a band, I can listen to their album or watch a video of their concert over and over and not be bored. I can't even get through a football game once without falling asleep. What's the point? But millions love to watch sports, so I must be missing something. In a way, I am glad I don't like t

Goat's Head Soup was my first Stones album (I won it in a contest guessing the top 5 of the week!!) I played it once, then it didn't leave my turntable for ages. I wore out the grooves. Because of GHS, I went out and bought a lot of their back catalogue, and when IORR came out, I bought it the first day, and subsequently wore out the grooves on that one. So I guess I am not very objecti

You are right, it was like an intermission. I would lie on my bed getting into the music so much, then I would have to get up and turn the record over, so it was always like 2 distinct acts, or sets, or whatever. Rushing them together ruined the whole idea of the side 1 and side 2 thing that was vinyl's downfall but also, I think, one of it's charms. And yeah, I guess that the re-ma

I was told by my partner that I couldn't go to the Newark show, but I did anyway. Best $500 I spent in 2012. Worth every penny. But I got lectured about it.

Thanks drbryant, that was the word I was looking for, one should segue(way?) into the other. They flow naturally, and to have a long pause in between just sounds wrong. I grew up listening to albums on vinyl, and have IORR, GHS, both BB's, SF and others memorized from the first note to the last. Hearing them on CD, I notice the little things. But to me, that small space between songs makes a

On my original vinyl copy of IORR, there was an awesome transition where IORR started up right as Ain't Too Proud to Beg ended. It was almost like they were interconnected. I have 2 subsequent copies (CD) of the album, and this doesn't happen, there is a lot of space between the 2 songs. It seems like such a small thing, but I used to get such a rush listening to the original album and

Love, Love, LOVE the shiny green suit jacket!!! I gotta go looking through thrift shops and try to find something cool like that to wear onstage. Thanks for the inspiration! (Also love the shirt next to it...) Oh, I got a shirt that I made to wear to the Brooklyn and Newark shows, with pictures of the band intersperced (sp?) with song titles and lyrics. It got kinda messed up when I washed it

It's already up on some torrent sites, if you paid for it and didn't grt it, or whatever your situation is, download it!! I was at the show so couldn't watch it obviously, but I definitely want a copy of the show for a souvenir. And no, I don't feel guilty- I have spent many paychecks on the Rolling Stones.

Hi Angee, Itwas great to talk to you, and I am glad you got to move down closer to the stage. You had me in stiches at one point, and I hoppe you had as good of a time as I did... absolutely no regrets about selling my cheaper ticket and upgrading to section 11- AWESOME view!!! Thanks again for making the evening even more fun!! Good luck with your writing....

Sarah, I will wave from Section 11, Row 11, right across from Section 16. (Secion 11 and Section 16 seem to be mirror sections on either side of the stage). Let's hope our view isn't too obstructed....and even if it is, we'll still have a GREAT time!!!

Got section 11 Row 10 late LAST NIGHT- I had read somewhere that this section started at row 13 so I hope I have a seat in an actual row. Barclay sold some non-existant seats in section 226 and people were showing up right and left looking for seats 13 through 24 in rows that ended at seat 12. It was funny for a while, but the look of panic on some people's faces really sucked- I had to assu

Well, the best thing to do is check Ticketmaster randomly, seats come and go quickly, what gets offered to me may not be the same as what gets offered to you 5 minutes later. Oh, did I mention that TICKETMASTER S*@KS??

Taking the bus down from Boston that morning...I was lucky enough to get 2 tickets on Ticketmaster for $154.50 each (plus fees). Now I am trying to score singles for Newark on the 13th and 15th for not-an-obscene-amount-of-money. But if that doesn't happen, I have been told that I should appreciate and enjoy the show on the 8th. So, I will....(but I will secretly be hoping).

I decided that I can't do all 3 shows due to cost, travel and work schedule, so I am doing the 2 Saturday shows and selling this one that I got on Ticketmaster for cost, $286. If no one wants it at cost, I will go to the show, I am not going below what I paid. Hope someone takes advantage of this before I go to e-Bay. clamatto36@ya

It says Rear View..... I went to the 3D seat finder on the offical Pru Center site, and the view looks pretty good, but maybe someone who sat in a comparable section at the O2 may know better than me. I sat approx. in the same section on the Bang tour at MSG and the view was phenominal, could see what was going on backstage, and was also VERY close to the band, so I am hoping these will be as goo
