I was in the fifth row at Gillette Stadium. There is quite a bit of room between the first row and the stage. There is a barrier, then a large area where security stand, then the stage. I had no problem seeing everything on the stage, and I am 5'4. The only problem is that (this happens everywhere) the tallest person in the world AND his girlfriend had the seats in front of mine, so they obs

Hey stonesfrk, Sorry just read this...try ticketiquidators.com, or just do a search for Rolling Stones tickets, they all have basically the same inventory. Some are slightly cheaper than others. There is only one ticket, it is in A1 and row 3. My e-mail is tommyquinn@hotmail.com if I can hel

Hey stonesfrk, I have been looking for 2 close tickets cheap, and noticed a 3rd row ticket is being sold on broker sites for under $200, looks like a bargain to me. try cheapseats.com, I hate to give brokers money, but they won't be making much with this one(I was tempted to buy it myself and give my other ticket away, but times are tough.....)

HI, Just a friendly FYI: NEVER give your credit card info out like this. It is quite likely a scam. Any legitimate company would not ask you for this info, they may ask you for a confirmation number or some other way to track your order. This is a HUGE scam in the US and people get bilked out of millions. Better safe than sorry.

I was really psyched that the stones were doing a benefit, even though I couldn't go b/c I would be in Florida for the Sunrise show. I even gave money and ended up not even getting a passcode. But I figured, even though $50 is a LOT for me, if the band could do this benefit, I could dig into my pockets. I have been in 5 bands, and a benefit has always meant that the band would get drinks foo

I'd like to think that the early stones hits would be hits today. Because the Stones shaped and influenced "pop" music so much, what would we have today if they came out in say, 2005. WOuld punk have happened? Would popular music have taken the safe path, i.e. the Beatles and the Kinks? Would the Stones be revolutionary in these times? Would they be able to compete with rap and all

Peter Wolf shows up at rock clubs around boston all the time, he is always checking out and supporting new bands. He also jumps up on stage occasionally with this band or that. At the Stones gig in Boston in January I was in the fifth row Ronnies side and Peter comes stumbling through the row in front of me, everyone seemed to know him, and he kinda hung between seats even though I don't thi

OK, I get this thread now, actual songs versus what you would LIKE to hear... SWAY!!!! LOVE IS STRONG(surprisingly, I am not a big fan of the recorded version). ROCKS OFF in Boston(finally they got it right and Mick didn't screw up the words...) ....and going against what I said previously, AIN'T TO PROUD TO BEG(I know, a cover...) Most disapointing: As Tears Go By..great to hear

I grew up with GHS, it was my first Stones album and I wore out the grooves listening to it, every lick is engrained in my mind. I now realize looking at the track list for Exile that I have not listened to it in it's entirety in ages. For some reason I had a semi-negative opinion of it, maybe it was what i was going through at the time of my life when i was listening to it. Now I am going t

Yeah, I think every song on GHS is great, and while Exile is also a great album, it is all over the place and spotty and not every song needed to be included. Would have made a helluva great single album. I know I will get major sh** for this. I also prefer IORR over exile, so I guess there is no accounting for taste.

I don't get this....all the great Stones originals and 7 out of 15 of these posts gives a cover song. I love hearing the Stones do anything, but I would MUCH prefer one of their own songs..that's why I think most of us go, for those Jagger/Richards masterpieces...they have so many great originals, why would you want to choose a cover song/

I went to see it in Westborough, MASSACHUSETTS. There were barely 50 people there in a theater that held at least 200. It was a radio-sponsered event, the dj was down in the front with a pathetic walkie-talkie, and when he asked how many had heard about the show from the radio station, only 2 people responded. The sound on JJF was so low, I swear if I didn't know the set list, I wouldn

Green Day and the Stones are the only 2 bands that can fill stadiums that I actually like. Though completely derivative, Green Day rock and put on a fantastic show.

Friends of mine(non-Stones fans, but otherwise with good taste in music) heard this in my car and LOVED it. This song got them to buy the album. And I love it too-one of my favorites off ABB.

I am watching the NB right now, ronnie says "Good evening, without further ado, good evening. We are really proud to be here, this is the band that u are going to see". Then they play Sweet Little Rock n Roller. Ronnie has some sort of red jumpsuit on. Sound familiar? If i get any more clues as I watch it, i'll post them.

I didn't read this whole thread, but i do have a few videos of the New Barbarians. I don't have the capability to make a dvd yet, but I would be glad to make a copy of the videos if you still are in the last century like me and still use a VHS, hehe. Just e-mail me if that's something you'd want and I will dub it over the weekend and send it out.
