Maybe it wasn’t slipping away, but one of the slow Keith songs and I think the main detail was permission. Keith has been asked if he supports a Taylor full return; he said something like “I’d love to open the door but I’ve lost the key” sounds like the key is Mick Best moment of my life was Mick Taylor coming out for Sway in Chicago 6/3/13 Still hold the ticket in my wallet to this day. I’ve talked directly to his GF many times in the past. Based on that, I’m not going to believe some rumor posted on here years ago. No need to play too much he said she said. But I heard what made Jagger mad is when Keith told MT in 2014 to come out secretly for slipping away without the official nod from Brenda It’s not like Taylor had any song writing influence on their best albums, he shou

I get a vibe that whether you know it or not a lot of people disagree with the speculated reason of exclusion more than their desire to actually hear the song. With Bobby gone, I can do without the song. Ghost town is a great stadium song and adds some harmonica. I think that Mick doesn’t like to exceed 2 harmonics songs which may be why we didn’t get out of control

QuoteCindyC QuoteJDSAM1994 Sorry everyone if my Mick Taylor comment was taken the wrong way, didn’t mean to kill the vibe of the thread and that seems to have started it. I could’ve left out the “Shaft” part. This really is about Charlie, so I didn’t mean to take away from that, my apologies. Let’s just drink to the hard working people and have a good weekend! QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteJadedFaded This was a beautiful farewell and tribute to the great Charlie Watts, held at Charlie’s favorite jazz club in London. How perfect. For all you TMZ wannabes, commenting on hair, clothes and cosmetic procedures, start a new thread about that. This thread is to acknowledge a special evening with Charlie’s family and friends, and I think it was all quite lovely

QuoteCindyC QuoteGreen Lady What he means is that it was organised by Charlie's family, and they, not "the Stones" were doing the inviting. We don't know who was invited or why anyone who wasn't there, didn't come, and frankly it's none of our business. Agree 100%, now stop calling me frankly (sorry I have to say that every time I see that word) Sure the

Quotebv QuoteJDSAM1994 What about some IORR merch? Like the shidoobee shirts. Just not ugly shirts (don’t hate me) There have been times during this tour, after long hours of IORR work, and little sleep, when I ask myself if enough is enough. Then organizing Stones Shop, which I did many years ago, would be like suicide. I think it is better with IORR like it is now, than no IORR at all, becaus

Glad to see I’m not the only one who thinks they’re ugly. Replica orange B.V Jackets would sell by the millions!

Just an idea everyone. B.V is the best and does a great job. I guess I can agree that what makes IORR great is how simplistic it is like an early 2000s website But I do think that an app would be cool and a big advancement An app probably wouldn’t change the website. I’m a millennial of course I want an app. In terms of the screaming and yelling referenced: based on my experiences h

QuoteIrix QuoteJDSAM1994 I’ve been thinking for a while that an IORR app for phones would be amazing. What would be the advantage for such an App except the appropriate visualization on Smartphone-displays? I mean it kinda speaks for itself. It’s not for any kind of advantage. It’s just different from the website and is an alternative option. Getting IORR app notifications from an app wou

I’ve been thinking for a while that an IORR app for phones would be amazing. Forgot to mention that to B.V when I saw him on the tour. I don’t know what it takes to get that done, but I think it would be great and would help out in the process. Your thoughts?

Yes, he's playing it differently. A-shaped chords/riffs, like he did with the Winos + a few licks from the studio version
