Quotecrholmstrom QuoteTheGreek Buddy Guy is one of the best bluesman period Jimi Hendrix once cancelled a show to go watch Buddy. & remember Keith giving Buddy his guitar during the "Shine a Light" show. Ultimate respect! & Buddy is a reallly nice man. I had the chance to have a drink with him once & I just listened to him tell stories. I'll always cherish that memory

Love Taylor on Dylan’s “Real Live” listened to the whole thing on a recent road trip. Some of his best guitar playing and he’s doing most of the actual work onstage. Had he stayed with the stones they wouldn’t have evolved to be quite as lazy of a guitar band as they are now. However, since Jagger’s Voice is a little less melodic these days, Taylor’s playing is not as fitting as it once was.

QuoteStonedRambler QuoteJDSAM1994 The yellow teles probably don't intonate well with a capo anymore, so most likely why he uses the lake placid blue tele for capo songs like SFM JJF. Why shouldn't they intonate well anymore? They surely get a refret once in a while I'm just speculating because I haven't seen them with a capo in a while. I'm Sure there are some refrets,

Certain songs call for p90s, humbuckers, or single coil Tele or strat pickups. All of his guitars are lite and easy for him to use for 2 hours. I'm hoping he brings back the Red ES355 with the tone select

QuoteMisterDDDD QuoteJDSAM1994 I’ve never been to Europe and was wondering if anyone has any tips on places to stay that the middle class working man can afford. Posting in the London thread, I'm assuming it's on your itinerary.. I like the "easyhotels" for an inexpensive option. Works best for a solo traveller or perhaps a couple. Small rooms. Used them around the UK

QuoteRockingLonestar I think it is a very good album. to me it is fun, fun, fun. Not as good as TY, but very near. And I like the live recordings from London very much. Lots of energy! My favorite of the live is Tumbling Dice- so awesome. There's also some lower quality videos of it on YouTube.

Maybe it wasn’t slipping away, but one of the slow Keith songs and I think the main detail was permission. Keith has been asked if he supports a Taylor full return; he said something like “I’d love to open the door but I’ve lost the key” sounds like the key is Mick Best moment of my life was Mick Taylor coming out for Sway in Chicago 6/3/13 Still hold the ticket in my wallet to this day. I’ve talked directly to his GF many times in the past. Based on that, I’m not going to believe some rumor posted on here years ago. No need to play too much he said she said. But I heard what made Jagger mad is when Keith told MT in 2014 to come out secretly for slipping away without the official nod from Brenda It’s not like Taylor had any song writing influence on their best albums, he shou

I get a vibe that whether you know it or not a lot of people disagree with the speculated reason of exclusion more than their desire to actually hear the song. With Bobby gone, I can do without the song. Ghost town is a great stadium song and adds some harmonica. I think that Mick doesn’t like to exceed 2 harmonics songs which may be why we didn’t get out of control

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteJadedFaded This was a beautiful farewell and tribute to the great Charlie Watts, held at Charlie’s favorite jazz club in London. How perfect. For all you TMZ wannabes, commenting on hair, clothes and cosmetic procedures, start a new thread about that. This thread is to acknowledge a special evening with Charlie’s family and friends, and I think it was all quite lovely

I guess I can agree that what makes IORR great is how simplistic it is like an early 2000s website But I do think that an app would be cool and a big advancement An app probably wouldn’t change the website.
