QuoteJeter1984 For those wondering, with only 16 shows, arenas and Canada doesn't make sense. 16 stadiums allows them to stay healthy and play to almost 1 million people. It generates approximately $100 million in ticket revenue. One of the more puzzling posts...

The stones have a rich history with Toronto. They have never not played in T.O. for many tours at this level(Zipcode was not aimed at large cities). There are several other large Canadian cities that have not had them for sometime. Not sure why they would not want to play here especially with the new album coming out.

QuoteMore Hot Rocks Quotetaz22 QuotegeorgeV QuoteMisterDDDD Quotebabyblue Think last two dates will be : Vancouver, BC Toronto, Ont.... I'm going with Vancouver, Philadelphia and Toronto. Bjornulf mentioned that there may be 16 shows.. This would make 15, with an open date to add a second show (dependent on sales) in Chicago, Boston or LA. Don't think there will be Canadian d

The reveals seem to be coming out in drips and drabs. Not how I imagined them touting a new album and tour. I guess some people enjoy the scavenger hunt.

The Mini tours have been 14 shows for some time. If they feel confident about the new album would cracking the 20 show barrier be out of reach? The large cities such as NY, Chicago, Boston could get two shows. Given the circumstances, when will the Stones have this opportunity again to showcase a new album and tour in North America?

Quotedrbryant QuoteTopi On Facebook, someone pointed out that the Boston hotel prices being up on certain weekends may also be because of college graduations in May. But still, just for example, take a look at hotel Renaissance Patriot Place in Foxborough, MA on the weekend of May 10 to May 12. You're looking at 1,340 USD (!!!) - non-refundable - a night, whereas the weekend before it

Toronto was home base for the Stones from Steel Wheels on through Bigger Bang. As the sign that's hanging now in Colorodo, "They'll be Coming Round the Mountain".

Quotemitchrambler I would think Cleveland browns or Cincinnati Bengals stadium may be in the mix. Columbus was a stop on Zip Code. I don't think Ohio gets looked at this time. It's the large city stop tour this go around and cities and locations that have not been played for a while.

Quoteyorkshirestone QuoteCristiano Radtke Quotekramsey I just drove past Mile High stadium in Denver and almost had a heart attack when we saw a crane putting up a huge Stones tongue. video: How exciting! Classic tongue rather than no filter tongue? And no yellow!? Looks like a proper tour with the album as the theme. We will have to wait to see what they call this go around.

QuoteDiegoGlimmerStones Imagine a tour announcement like this in 2019!!! That would be Amazing! Enjoy! You would have to bring back Michael Cohl for that to happen. He was responsible for the Mega themed tours starting with Steel Wheels and finishing with a Bigger Bang. Who they have now has brought us 14 on Fire/Zip Code mini tours.

Maybe we will actually get an old fashioned themed tour celebrating the name of the new album.

If only he could have stayed for one more tour. Had he stayed until Voodoo that would have left a better impression amongst the fans and brought him into the "Modern Era"(Steel Wheels was a renioun tour). Even if he had enjoyed that I don't think he would have stayed until Bridges.

She had her time with the Stones. Her singing on Gimme Shelter became too over the top and turned into an awkward spectacle. She did provide some stellar performances over the years but it was time for her to move on. There could be other pieces of the supporting cast that could be replaced also but it is what it is at this stage of the game.

They also run the risk of Jagger being wiped out for shows with dry throat issues if they play there.

Does anyone want to speculate on which cities will host the shows. It would be interesting to see how closely they match up to the final results. Will it be exclusively large cities or a mix like the Zipcode tour? Also, strictly Football and baseball stadiums or arenas? I know people have wish lists but how does everyone see this actually unfolding?

The Stones are in the twilight of their careers. If one of them leaves or can no longer play it's finished. I find people's expectations is to grind them into a pulp. Enjoy what they still provide as once they stop there will be no more shows to look forward to.

They had a chip on their shoulder with something to prove again. We should be so lucky to have a tour concept now based around a new album. Not everyone's favourite time period but I did not mind. Ushered in the mega themed tour concepts with songs that hit radio play again.

It 's not the last. They will either continue with the No Filter name or change it for North America. Ever since they finished the 50 th anniversary tour in arenas it's been the "And Counting" phase of their touring in outdoor stadiums. 14 on Fire/ Zip Code/ No Filter. Essentially they have been on an extended world tour just broken down into small legs with lot's of time
