It would be interesting to know who exactly pick the official posters.

Most of the posters deisgn above are much nicer than the official ones.

I particularly like Brisbane, Oslo (Munch's shout) and Rome (the horse) from 2014.

I always wonder why they didn't pick the Paris Gargoyl design from last year. Hands down it would have been the best of the european tour.

Man... these posters are pretty much all better then official prints. Brutal! And knowing how the Stones operate there's a 0% chance the artists can sell them

They used the alligator theme last time in Florida, can see why this one got shelved.
Like the current Jacksonville real well, perhaps best so far.

Like the Havana Cuba Alternate.

I'd say the unused 2019 Jacksonville poster by Nick Kubley is a thousand times nicer than the childish color-by-numbers alligator that was used for the Citrus Bowl - possibly the worst poster they've ever had.

Looking for the kitchen sink, as he threw everything else in
(gators, peaches, bridge, coins, etc) The "tongue" is shaped oddly and hard to even see amongst the clutter.
Way too busy and amateur tattoo-ish imo.

Thanks. You have to dig a bit for them. The "Buffalo" poster in this series is nicer then the official.

Yes I recall that, and if memory serves some of her later designs/concepts were illustrated/created with the help of professional artists.

Forgive the potentially dumb question, but where do these come from? I mean who releases unused advertising material? Don't they end up in the waste basket? How can they be released in 'competition' with the official version?


(Don't get me wrong, I think some of these are superb, just wondering how they came to light - or are they just fan art?)

Also, whilst I'm here, what was/were the Twickenham 2018 posters? I googled it and only came up with that lame yellow/child-drawn tongue one that was tour-wide. Was there a specific Twickers one?

The 2019 Jacksonville as well as the 2019 Denver - Poster have been posted by the Artists themself (as credited above). We've found them on Instagram.

The same with some unused Posters from Royal Hue Studio (A.J. Fichera) which were unfortunately removed from his [www.Instagram.com] in the meantime.
