Over the past few months, I've picked up an original pressing of GYYYO on 100% virgin vinyl (mint vinyl-no skips! Reasonably good cover, bought second hand-they tried coloring in the bottom blue border with marker!) In addition to that, I also got what I think is a first pressing of 'Dirty Work'-Better than I thought it would be, no red wrap, though...

Thanks! There's practically no info on this CD's contents online, only 'Shaped Disc!' and 'Limited Release'!

I'd enjoy some video or audio (LONGER than that 1:44 YouTube vid they uploaded a while back) of a rehearsal, maybe like the 1997 tour rehearsal tapes...?

I think it was the early show that was aired... Heartbreaker replaced Mr. D for the second show, I think.

Hey Vertigo, I think this was exclusive to those in Japan who ordered the Japanese SSS Set. Here's the original thread dedicated to it: iorr.ork/talk. Some people uploaded videos of the audio there.

The Boss is better than the Stones in the fact that he doesn't play a 2 1/2 hour set with 19-22 songs, keeping 97% of the songs the same as they have been for the past few years. I get to see him on one of his stops soon, and am glad he sounds great (from all the videos and stories). BTW, which sounds better, the MP3s or FLACs of his shows?

Seems like Mick is definitely lip-synching ('miming') on the TOTP performance... that or he's holding back his true live-vocal abilities with the Stones when performing!

While listening to the U.S. edition of Aftermath, I *finally* reached the last track, the jam session(?), 'Going Home'. It really seems like it may have been the roots of MR, with all the harmonica notes intertwined with the guitars...Not 100%, let alone 45%, the planning of MR, but to me it seems that in parts it becomes vaguely similar... A very unique milestone in the Stones' m

I have most things from Rock (Stones, Springsteen, Beatles, misc. artists) to polkas on my iPod, and just hit shuffle. If I find a song I don't like, I simply skip it, go to a new one. i pod=iPod. i phone=iPhone (Had to try it, weird!) My guess for the censorship is that maybe bv's a Droid kind of person!

Charlie is not only one of the best drummers in rock, but maybe one of the best men in rock. Not too cocky, not too shy, gives hilarious (and sometimes awkward) interviews, and he punched Mick Jagger out. Mick Jagger apologized to Charlie afterwards. (According to Keith, anyways).

QuotePTownshend The fact that everyone talks about Chuck so often here leads me to believe you all love him. In all fairness, he was one of the Stones' early influences, and it's always entertaining hearing of his encounters with Mr. Richards...

Sorry if this was already discussed, but I stumbled across this Tumblr page filled with fan mail directed towards the Stones right up until 1981/2. Here's the opening page's statement: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In 1988 I was given a box of Rolling Stones fan mail by an acquaintance who had retrieved it from the trash in 1981, wh

As would the songs... Why? If the copyright has expired, they can release what they want... My bad, they aren't available in the U.S., those links must be for the U.K. or another country. To my ears it sounds great, and they should release the live Version if htey have a decent soundboard recording! Same goes for Torn and frayed from the same Show!
