This Place Is Empty is one of my favourite Keith tracks. There's a great interview of him talking about writing it and he basically shrugs and says, " The old lady was away, yeah, this place is empty without you... I was feeling lonely." It is so candid, always struck a chord with me. I loved that honesty, especially when you consider who he is. Beautiful song.

Ps - anybody who says it isn't sore is telling you lies. There's people whose misplaced macho bullshit can trick you into thinking otherwise but you're having needles inserted into your skin at a very high speed, so of course it hurts. I got the lyrics to Happy tattooed on my back. I'm pretty heavily tattooed though but you wouldn't know it from looking. Do it if you fancy it but make sure you can live with it. I'll be honest, I forget mine are there a lot of the time. Here's a picture from straight after the sitting. Very swollen and sore but settled down into a cool tattoo.
