Im willing to bet you everything I own they wont play an open air British gig in December They were worried about the weather mid summer at Glastonbury never mind December. Have you seen the weather here at that time of year?

If it is mid December it will be in an arena. Dont think there has ever been an outside stadium show in England in December

Quotelickskeith No tumbling dice on #4.....! Are mick & chuck finally shaking things up?! Perfect! I'm sure tumbling dice was on the ban list last time they played China? May be the reason why

The die hard fans like us on here probably make up 10% at best of the crowd at gigs like this. As much as id love to see them roll out some rarer songs it isnt going to happen. You might get the odd curve ball or two but the set will be safe. The majority of people there want to see the warhorses - they are casual stones fans, a large number have probably only seen them once or twice (If at all).

I work in the office next door to the caverns original entrance upstairs. On that photo of Mathew Street you can see a grey post on the right hand side, that’s the entrance (Next to a shop called cricket). I'll have a look on my dinner later on at the wall of fame and see what other big names are there. If you are in Liverpool of course visit the Cavern, do the magical mystery tour bu

Wrong, there is a number of roads closed off just for artists to enter/exit during the festival. (Helecopters can also land close by and they often do). Headliners often stay in Bath the night before. Traffic only builds up Tuesday night/Wednesday morning when the gates open and Monday after the festival closes

Make no mistake this was iconic. Ive been to several Glastonbury’s but there really was something special about that night. The whole day leading up to the gig you could feel the magic in the air. It's easy to forget when this was first announced before the US tour people thought it would be a shambles, but by jove did the boys step up to the plate. Headlining that festival is not an eas

Glastonbury for me, something different about that night. Watched it back on tv and it really does not do it justice. O2 was good, the band probably played as good if not better than Glasto but the crowd was flatter than a witches tit. I'll let you know my thoughts on Hyde Park In a few days

If they did film tonights show for DVD as has been suggested then that set list is perfect. The casual fans buying such DVDs like it or not would rather see the war horses. We all yearn for the lesser played stuff, especially those who have been to 20 or 30 Stones gigs in their time - but we need to be realistic it aint going to happen with the exception of maybe 1 or 2 being slipped in.

DVD is my guess, probably a 50 and counting one. If the set list varies alot from Glastonbury they may do it as a 2 or 3 disc set

This is a mess The stones have done upwards of 2 hours in America all tour, they did the same at Glastonbury why not here? The organisation of this whole thing has been very amateurish

Quotekleermaker So they blew the whole American tour and waited to surprise us at Glastonbury? How clever! Arena shows all blur into one, Glastonbury was a very special one off gig. The Stones/Glastonbury saga has been rambling on for decades - two massive chunks of British music heritage finally coming together. If you look at the hype surrounding it its easy to see this was not an ordinar
