Your cheapest option is to jump the 26 from Anfield to the city centre and then change for the connecting bus through the Kingsway tunnel. I’m not sure what number that is but it will be on the Merseytravel website, your hotel will also be able to help. Train routes to Anfield aren’t great. Kirkdale the nearest station is close to 1 1/2 miles away Failing that you can always get a taxi. Fr

There’s currently an extensive poster advertising campaign going on in Liverpool. Suspect sales aren’t as strong as expected for this show.

Solid set list last night. His voice by all accounts much improved on recent years (guessing due to the enforced covid touring break) Go and see legends like Paul whilst we still can at every opportunity. I know there’s a lot of debate on here now that Charlie’s no longer with us about the validity of another Stones tour but Paul still performs Beatles songs and it still brings so many people

Unfortunately there’s not much Stones related in the city, naturally it’s littered with Beatles history. If you have a few days I’d recommend taking either the Magical Mystery tour or if you’d rather do it on a more personal level a private hire black taxi Beatles tour (Check trip advisor for further details). Both will take you to the outer boroughs of the city and visit iconic locations from Be

Busses run until around 12 am Quotesteffialicia Are there busses/trains from the venue that run all night? Can someone suggest a few convenient, safe hotels that would be fairly close to the venue? Unfortunately there is no local train station. The nearest one is Kirkdale and around 20-35 min walk. On a match day there is a direct ‘soccer bus’ that runs from Sandhills train station to t

It’s no more than 15 mins in a taxi from the ground. You can also get the number 26 bus from Liverpool one bus station which is about a 5 - 10 min walk from your hotel.

Delighted i’ll get to see the lads in my home town. If anyone needs advice when coming to Liverpool i’m happy to help. Would strongly recommend staying in the city centre. It’s around a 10 min bus / taxi from the stadium but standard of hotels / restaurants and pubs infinitely better. (As Anfield is a residential area primarily). The city centre itself isn’t too big with most places situate

I’ve heard there are 3 big concerts from ‘Legends’ at Anfield Liverpool this summer. Only 2 announced so far, The Eagles & Elton. Dates of the other two are 17 & 20th June so fits with their schedule. One to keep an eye on

Sincerely hope they do tour over here in 2022. Rather than having endless back and forth debates on here we need to savour Mick, Keith and Ronnie playing whilst we still can. As we’ve seen this week they can still put on a fantastic show. Let’s be grateful we can see them live, you’d be a fool to pass that chance up. Pretty soon we won’t have that opportunity.

Had an email response (Non generic) from an advisor. Apparently there is an issue with large scale group emails but she said as long as you have the correct ID to present at the Box Office there will be no issues.

Gig has a 10.30 curfew. Trams are very efficient from Old Trafford and only takes 5/10 mins from the ground. You’ll be fine as long as your make a slick exit as soon as the band finishes

I get the reason why many hardcore fans on here are bored with the setlist but you also have to understand why they play what they play. The Stones haven’t toured the UK in this manner for over a decade, they cater to the audience with that in mind. They have to play the warhorses to give them value for money and the gig the casual expects. A gig which delights 1000 hardcore fans but alientat

QuoteDeanGoodman QuoteStonesSmeth99 For those wanting something different (and possibly cheaper), Altrincham is a 20 minute tram ride from the stadium and one of the more 'thriving' suburbs/towns around Manchester. +1. Manchester is probably one of the easiest cities for accommodation and transport. I stayed at a fantastic $50 Airbnb in Altrincham a few weeks ago, in Morrissey&

If they were playing arena shows with 20k capacity then I suspect they’d have sold out much quicker, with stadium shows however I actually think the pricing structure may deter touts. Demand is high but not that of an arena show (Eg 02 dates not too long ago). Stones shows are already quite expensive, it is a big gamble for touts with upwards of 60k tickets per gig on offer to make a decent profi

No doubt at some point there will be an official release The Stones at Glastonbury - the title sells itself. They wont pass up on a money spinner like that. My guess would be in maybe 12 months once the current tours over we'll get this.
