Good point, T&A. The song definitely needs horns which would probably eliminate it from the opening slot. It would be a cool addition to the set, however, a hit...but not a war horse! I remember now... that Webster Hall show was great! Jagger was promoting his best solo album and delivered a pretty hot set! Great boot of that one! Now...for the opening song...hmmmmm Ross

I vote for Have You Seen Your Mother Baby . A kick-ass song to jump start the crowd...not overplayed...a hit back in the day but obscure enough to be a cool opener. Jagger did a great version of this on one of his solo tours, I was impressed with how good it was live. I hope it at least makes the set! Ross

Is the soundboard mix you used for the soundtrack the ALD source where Keith is barely audible? Or has another soundboard emerged from this show? I wasn't aware that any high quality soundboards emerged from the NS tour. I know of Philly (minus keith) and The Pond (which was pretty lousy but definitely a soundboard). Are there others? Ross

Miss You is a down & dirty blues song...complete with a hellhound harp solo from Sugar blue! The Stones cleverly slipped in the 4 on the floor beat and took the whole world for a ride! Excellent song! It does get tedious live and has been way overplayed. Ross

My favorite was Memphis 1975. The Meters, The Charlie Daniels Band (beleive it or not they weren't bad!), J. Geils Band! I am looking forward to Wilco in Atlanta this year! Luck of the draw? Ross

Amazing! On one of the eBay listings you can "buy it now" for $19.99 plus $6.50 postage. It will not be shipped until it is released! What a deal! Why pay $12.99 at Best Buy on the day it comes out when you can pay $26.49 and take a chance on having to wait several days after it's release to receive it! I'm bidding NOW! Ross

Now that Ive listened to it, there is no way the additional tracks are of the same quality as the basic Live Licks tracks. These appear to be audio rips from 4 Flicks added to the official release. The artwork is impressive, but there is no way the tracks are mixed and produced as well as the Live Licks tracks were (except the bad edits, of course!) Ross

A "Live Licks - 32-Track Edition" was posted in the newsgroups. Is it legit? Maybe a special protional item? Did I miss something? It was posted with artwork that listed 32 tracks and had all of the Virgin/EMI logos.Even had scans of the actual discs - certainly looked legit! If the art was fake it was well done! Additional tracks are disc 1: Dont Stop, Heartbreaker,Stray Cat Blu

Country Honk, I am hoping they will release MMM in the SACD format. I am sure the 5.1 sound will accentuate the subtle nuances of this masterpiece. Thanks for the mom-in-love tip, Im gonna try it! Ross

This is ridiculous! I’m 47 years old and I feel just like I did when I was 14 and couldn’t wait to get my hands on “Exile On Main St.” I cut the neighbor’s yard, scraped up spare change, hunted for deposit bottles, anything to scrounge up the $6.99 plus tax that the manager of Music Scene in the mall personally told me that the double album would be on sale for. It was more than my pubesce

Terry, I am not a crank...I was just amused! I thought my joke was obvious, but I didnt take into consideration how easily things can be mis-interpreted on boards like this. Am I the only one that sees the humor in the juxtaposition of the words "Virgin" and "Jagger" with Jagger being perhaps the most legendary cocksman of all time? I dont see how pointing out a m

I would guess the name "Rolling Stones Records" still belongs to Atlantic. Once they signed with Columbia they no longer had a "subsidiary" label, they were just another artist signed to Columbia. At least they kept the toungue logo! Ross

When their contract with Atlantic (RS Records parent co.) ran out they signed a deal with Columbia beginning with Dirty Work. Columbia paid a fortune for a deal included not only The Stones, 2 Mick Jagger solo albums and all of the Atlantic back catalog. They signed their current deal with EMI/Virgin sometime prior to Voodoo Lounge. Ross
