I was amazed by Keith's playing and also suprised that Ronnie's guitar was so low in the mix. Maybe the stereo of my computer is not balanced ? Or Ronnie was not reliable enough at that time ?

Quotemonkberry00 You may have a lot of guitar strings but you don't have a clue about the music, you never did. Maybe it was supposed to be funny ? I'm still searching the link with the music.

I'm watching the youtube concert. What a band ! Everything fits in right, energy, dynamics, backing vocals. Lot of joy on stage ! How many times Steve Jordan, Charley Drayton, and Ivan Neville swiched between drums, bass and keyboards ? This is just crazy how gifted musicians they are. Currently 25k views. Is it an expected number ?

I also love the YCAGWYW instrumental parts in Hampton ! It's maybe the closest of Slave live rendition we could get. In the Stones latter days, the maybe only spot for longer version is Midnight Rambler ?

for my taste, in addition to Charlie and in no particular order: Joseph « Zigaboo » Modeliste (18), Fred Below (55), Elvin Jones (23), Tony Allen (33), Jim Keltner (38), Manu Katché (57), Christian Vander (100). Gabriel Parra, drummer of the Chilean Los Jaivas should have deserved a place. Nowadays, his daughter Juanita Parra, replaced him. https://youtu.be

My understanding is that Eric Clapton met both Bobby Keys and Jim Price while touring with Delaney &
