I think you judge Too Tight too harshlly most of you.Five years ago I had this coment: "A fresh and quite superb rocker. Not revolutionary, but a filler, that becomes more than a filler. Well the lyrics might not be nobel prize material, but there is a no nonsense feeling in them, that I like. Literally a man wanting some space in the relationship. And Jaggers way of delievering it makes

QuoteIrix QuoteStoneswolf any rumours about other stops in Europe? Dunno. Currently the next official date after Groningen is Kitchener (near Toronto), Nov. 2021 - Jan. 2022 -- , . There's some space between the end of Groningen in Feb. 2021 and the beginning of Kitchener in Nov. 2021. Could of course be filled with another European date. How about Hamburg?

I think the promovideos on the bluray are marvelous - the restoration is as good as one had hoped. So nice now to have especially the Angie promo (version 2) in high quality.

QuoteDoxa Okay, according to Karnbach (cheers Rockie!), "Hide Your Love" was about the last track they recorded for the album, even though initially about the first one crafted for it. So its story began in October 1970 at Olympic and, after a full cicle, ended there in May 1972. Supposedly the 'alternate mix' is what they tried in Jamaica, but seemingly weren't satisfied

QuoteHairball Musically sounds pretty good, but would probably be much better without the vocals and silly lyrics. Wonder what Keith would think of this version - probably not much considering what he thought of the original idea based on what he said to Mick- "This ain't Stones material pal, release it on your own" IMO the lyrics are quite good and the vocals very strong. And

QuoteBashlets The Angie clip with him sitting down is the best but I think unfortunately we will get the hat one. Him sitting down was released before on 1984’s Video Rewind. I prefer the hat-version to the sitting version, Jagger's intepretation of the farewell-drama and the irony is much cooler in the hat version. Which was the second version.

QuoteMisterDDDD Quotedonvis There were actually 2 Angie videos. One was sweet and sincere. One was “fey and mocking”. I wonder which will be on the release? One has Mick sitting with flowers dropping. The other is him wearing a hat standing. One was the "promo" version, and one (hat) the official. Unless there's more? Hope it's the promo Edit* It's the official

QuoteDoxa The childish behavior by certain folks here amazes me. They take everything the Stones do or relaese being personally targeted at them, and oh man, if the thing doesn't meet expectations (laid by their long prejudiced, conservative one track undertanding of what the Stones should do) they make a shitstorm, and cry like little babies not having gotten the candy one wants. QuoteMisterDDDD QuoteDoxa Ten years ago this seemingly was a fun idea. Since then we have all those songs and whatever people don't like listed in about every thread. Negativity rules. I guess I like them all. Some mean more to me, some less. There is no a Stones tune I don't find something good in it. I guess I just like the noise they make. -Doxa Well said. I even like the Ri

QuoteMore Hot Rocks I wonder what the rest of the band thought when Mick was the only member of the band to be on the cover of GHS and Tattoo you? My guess is that they didn't care. You mean like Charlie was the only Stone on the Get Yer Ya Yas Out-cover?

Quoteexilestones Quoteironbelly Quoteexilestones Can the Blu-ray audio be played on a Blu-ray video player or is there a machine needed that plays Blu-ray audio? If I read everything correctly, the Blu-ray Goats Heads Soup Blu-ray is in 5.1 surround sound? Not only audio but also 3 videos. But this is not that important. The question is if blueray is region free or region 2. Usually

QuoteHumf Why is it that so many of the Stones' -I really mean Jagger's- recent offerings sound like rehashes of Gunface on one of their latter albums this century ? Well, I don't think they do and Ghost Town sure doesn't. But Jagger-sceptics seems to to smell blood now that the credits have stated that Matt Clifford had been involved. Soon Ghost Town be the worst thing ever

I always liked the album, though it didn't top Some Girls. It has aged very well, I think. To me the highlights are Dance (a band of friends grooving (fiction among the glimmers at this point, I know)), Send it to me (their best take on reggae I think and some nice vocals from Mick) and the titeltrack, which I was grumpy about at first hearing, but loved at second and ever since.

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteGetYerAngieYeah,Tom Waits allmost everywhere in Keith's voice since All about you (1980). And often in the overall sound. There isn't ANY Tom Waits in Keith's voice. You're reaching for something that isn't there. Waits' Cold Water is the closest to the Stones (and Keith) Waits has ever gotten - musically. His voice is still Waits, not
