It was my late sister's favourite Stones song. Black and blue was her last album. Funnily enough, it was the last song on a homemade work out cd compliation at my local gym today....cool down part........Lav-er-ly.... Besides the actual music which is totally captivating, I like it as it's a solid down to earth story told like Bob Dylan's Brownsville girl.

He's right about the Stones appropriating Hackney for a day - no serious Stones links to Hackney but although he might not like it, probably most in Hackney couldn't care less either way. In any event, it's not illegal. He's definitely talking nonsense about them "not doing anything else but be the Stones" - as we all know, all the Stones, current and ex have don

Quotedjango QuoteTitle5Take1 I know PAINT IT, BLACK isn't on Ya Ya's, but does anyone know if at the actual concert they played that song? Just out of idle curiosity, if anyone knows that kind of trivia regarding that concert.... Here's her story: I read a few years back that a Ya-Ya is a small box that someone (from New Orleans especially) keeps their favourite things in

Quotemgshorr Hi All - Have any of you brought your kids (under 10yo) to a show? If so, I have a few questions… 1) did they last the entire night? 2) did they use earplugs? 3) could my 5yo and 3yo survive a show? I don’t want to have any regrets about my kids not seeing the Stones while they’re still touring… Thx for any tips, feedback, etc… I went in my local bank a couple of

Quoteretired_dog Quotegoingmad QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotemarcovandereijk How about Saint of me as a gospel inspired song? I think Billy Preston (he went to church in Brussels?) is the first one to bring some gospel into the music, as he did on Shine a Light and Saint of me. And isn't Salt of the Earth also an example of the Stones flirting with gospel? Indeed. There is certainly a
