As far as I know, there's only one source each for the two shows in Champaign, and we only have five songs from the second gig. Both are given an 8 here: Currently on sale on DAC's "Vintage Champaign"; I don't have this. There was an upgrade or lower generation tape torrented a while ago, maybe DAC took it from there?

Thanks Urban Steel! The '69 tour remains to be my favourite, and I will probably download or buy any version of those shows, even if it is the hundredandtenth!! At first listening this sounds very good, but I won't say it is better than VGP's "Pot Boiler" or SODD's "Liver..." for the first show or VGP's/Lurch's & TSP's "Liver..

I don't listen that much to the GLIYWI Lp, prefer the Ep; that Ep and Get Yer Ya-Yas Out for me are what the Stones live are about! For those interested in the differences between the Lp and and the cd versions ( most obvious being the stereo/mono difference and the other Under My Thumb version) look here: And no, I haven't found a cd without the glitch on UMT either! And i

Hello! I have what I believe to be the original German double lp with the postcards; black and white photos with red/white lettering. Now I have also the English version, in there I found the postcards with black and white letters! I think once I also had a Japanese pressing (don't know where it is nowadays!), and I think the postcards which are completly black & white belong t

I also think the harp you hear is an organ, but I don't think it's played by Bill! Probably Nicky Hopkins, though I remember vaguely a rumour around that time that it is Steve Winwood. Re.: Brian's guitar playing: there's a book on the Stones by Palmer & Shanahan page 143 a pic from Keith's cottage with Keith & Brian playing guitar, Jagger is watching; sup

Concerning promos, isn't the advance promo for the abkco remasters 9215-2 released in 2002 one of the most interesting, because of slightly different versions described by Goodwin & Pacholski like this( see Connection> FAQ about ABKCO remasters ): 1) "Under My Thumb." This track is processed on the officially released discs (with the hiss level of the track noticeably

QuoteLudwig8745 QuoteRolling on Is this the Midnight Beat release? I have another box with a different tracklisting. Mine has more tracks on each disc. According to the artwork and the torrent info file is this one the Midnight Beat release. For Vol. 1 check the differences in the artwork between back-JPG's and the two inleys; the inlays list more tracks and seem to be correct! Vol
