So the 'sell-out' marked on the Ticketpro site really means that the tickets are not yet available. It all points to very slow sales - not a shock with those crazy prices. This promoter needs a reality check. I seem to remember that the prices with Odyssey last year were much less. Makes no sense at all. A real pity as I think they could get a great reception & atmosphere in P

With sssoul, If you live locally in Warszawa, the best thing to do is arrive on the day & try to buy a ticket outside from somoeone with a spare. The concert will obviously be far from sold out so spare tickets will be very very cheap !! I live in Swindon, South of England ad last year I travelled to Cardiff with no ticket. I asked around outside and managed to buy a seat close to the

Adam, I've just checked the ticketpro.pl website and it appears to indicate that the VIP (1015PLN!!) & cheaper of the 2 'B' sections (215PLN) is sold out. As was the case in Chorzow in '98 I think that if come showtime FOS is far from full they'll allow people with teckets for other sections to fill the empty sapce - I can't imagine the band would want to pla

'Czesc' to all Polish Stones fans (PiotrRSPL & others) & other planning to be there on 25/7, Do you know how well ticket sales are going for the show there ? I too was shocked by the ticket prices. I had a ticket for the cancelled show in Bemowo last year. I will be in Warsaw to visit freinds next week and would certainly have come to the new concert if the prices had been

16 days to Werchter now.... Let's hope the guys are up for it. Keith fully recovered from the tree fall & Ronnie off the booze. No worries about Mick & Charlie. Mick's voice will have had 6 months to recover. Will be at the Stade de France on 16th June with my 65 year old parents (I'm 40). Their 1st show, my 15th (since 24/8/1990)!!!!!!!!!

9th July 1995, Don Valley Stadium, Sheffield Was close to the stage on Ronnie's side. They didn't come on stage until 930, by which time many in the crowd were pissed off but well worth it in the end. £25 ticket & a 24 song setlist. Mick outstanding though some clumsy guitaring from Ronnie at times. Great memory, perhaps one of the best of my 14 gigs so far (the 1st being 24

That further underlines my point that the band always move up a gear for Paris. According to stuff written on here last year Ronnie began the Euro tour last year on rather poor form with a notable improvement from Paris on. I caught them in Cardiff and though he was excellent. I really like Ronnie, seems like an affable decent bloke, unfortunately troubled by issues with the booze, which I do

Got my Paris tix today, section U6. Taking my 65 year old parents to theit 1st ever Stones gig and my own 15th (I've just turned 40). Can't wait. I get the impression that this is THE show to go to - it's the only 'big' stadium show that appears to be selling well so far. The boys always seem to move up a gear for Paris too - they clearly love the place. I was there i

I agree, but they pissed a lot of people off in Poland last year when they left the anouncement to cancel so close to the planned show date itself. People were angry because it was always known to be very likely due to the at-the-time perrilous state of Keith's health but they dragged their heels with a final decision if you remember.

The prices for the field are bordering on reasonable by West European standards but truly ludicrous for Poland. My many Polish friends will be put off by those prices and unless many foreigners travel in for the gig they don't stand a chance in hell of selling 60,000 tickets at those prices. Will still almost certainly go myself though - still luv 'em the greedy sods ! G

Me too ! We'll all have to sing Happy Birthday to Mick. It's so hard to believe that he'll be 64 and all 4 of them'll be over 60 by the time th tour gets underway. I'm taking my parents to see them at the Stade de France for their 1st ever gig - my dad's 3 months younger than Charlie & my mum's a year younger. Both retired 5 years ago & I'm going

"Still, it would be a negative landmark if Nijmegen won't sell out." All of the indications are that it is a long way short of this with just a month to go before the show. I too have scaled down my gigs somewhat. I saw 5 BtB shows across 98/99 & 5 Licks in USA/Germany/Scotland but so far on the current tour just the one show - Cardiff last year which is easy to reach by

Greg, I'd perhaps not bother with that. I'm not at all keen on the UK Royal Family and all the privileges we the tax payer fund for them but it's an amusing co-incidence nonetheless. As far as the Stones & Holland is concerned I notice that they play far fewer shows there than say in the VL & BtB time when they were extremely popular there - I was one of the 86,000

Greg, That is amazing ! I was born on 27th April 1967, 1 day before you. I'm a Scot, born in Bellshill near Glasgow despite the Polish user name. What nationality are you ? I'm actually taking my 65 year old parents to the show, their first ever by the RS (or indeed by anyone at all in the case of my dad). I thought it was time they saw what their age peers can still do... Plea

Hi to all IORRers, This is my first ever post on this board, having used it as a guest for several years and being a fan of the band for 30 of my 40 years (14 gigs since 1990)! Anyway, I have a question for any fans with a knowledge of Paris & the Stade de France in particular. I believe that parking is a quite an issue at the stadium, although I got round this on my last visit in
