16 shows between 1982 and 2014, a minimum of 2 per tour All in Germany in 6 towns I think. Cologne, Duesseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hockenheim and Mannheim. 86 different songs. Played 16 times...: Brown Sugar, Honky Tonk Women, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Satisfaction, Start Me up, Tumbling Dice. Played only once: 14 songs!

QuoteRipThisBone QuoteJJHMick No no, I don't think that Germany's return to the No. 1 spot is that special. Christmas is over therefore Helene Fischer is gone and I assume that Freiwild's fanship isn't big enough to block the No. 1 position. Looking at the chart run in The Netherlands we celebrate X-mas by giving BLUE & LONESOME as a season present. That's a g

Amazing! Up there Keith plus Elton John laughing. I thought they had a feud going on as Elton called him an arthritic monkey?! In that woman looking like Bill picture I find Charlie has folded his hands behind his back just like Prince Charles. I remember that a journalist remarked to him that this is the same habit as his father Prince Philipp. No, he said, we only have the same tailor and h

Quotepeoplewitheyes Great stuff. Jagger looks pretty wired in that interview... Kinda twitchy! By coincidence, I'm headed to Nicaragua on the weekend. Any sign of the Stones connections there, I wonder? I have read (which means I haven't seen) that there was a stamp or stamp series about the Rolling Stones as a thank you for the concerts!

Those projects sometimes never seem to happen. Wasn't Keith supposed to be on something with Johnny Depp, and then I think another regarding some Ian McLagen tribute. As far as I know, those never happened. Could that Johnny Depp thing have become The Hollywood Vampires with Alice Cooper and Aerosmith's Joe Perry - plus some of Guns 'n' Roses, am I right? They made a record

I didn't see them last year bis in 2006 or 2007 when they were in Germany the last time. More a concert than a show despite anything windmill and rope microphone. Incredible ending of the evening with Tea & Theatre!

I think I read/heard it is about Sophia Loren. Pass the wine, Sophia. Cheers, Peter. And a note my fellow Country man: He found out that his family originally came from Sarstedt, a town in Niedersachsen/Lower Saxony (capital is Hanover).

I think sometimes Pete's sophisticated approach to making records is distracting him from simply making one! It sure would ease him if he's writing about Boy Meets Girl for a start. If he is too much into the lyrics he might neglect the music as Endless Wire proves which has a lot of Who (musical) citations. If he is too much into the music he forgets his hit writing ability with

I wonder whether Keith got Goodnight Irene from Ry Cooder. I know Cooder released that as late as 1976. This only means he has recorded it then but not that he might have played it to Keith in 68/69. Funny though, Ry had covered It's All Over Now in 1974. I'm sure he was more acquainted with the Stones version then with the one of Bobby Womack. Or George Jones? Or Gram Parsons? Any s

What laertisflash and georgelicks (and many others) are giving here to us is great! Very substantial, interesting and hardly before dealt with stuff. One might have to reinterpret foreign (that is non-UK) charts positions (including those of the US) of the past. The Stones seem to be the most successful act world wide! (Btw, how was Metallica doing in South Corea?) Regarding Germany, Helene

Quotelaertisflash So, during 4 week B&L has taken 20% of it's total sales (1,305,000) from UK (261,407 units), 19,3% from the USA (252,000), 12,6% from France (164,344), 3,9% from Australia (50,880) and 3,2% from Japan (41,508). These numbers are making 59%. As for the rest 41%, I wonder how huge the contribution of Germany (vast market/strong sales) and the two... epic "# 1-1-1-1&

Not a main market, of course. But it could be special attraction for fans from other Balkan countries. Especially in the summer. Both should - plus South Corea to give the album a boos

Quotelaertisflash Ledies and Gentlemen, "B&L" is at #11 of the World Chart (Media Trafic) for the year 2016, whith these 1,305,000 sales. Amazing for an album that came out 4 weeks before year's end. Yes, sales are biggest during the holidays season but album's performance is still great. Number 11 on Global Chart after only 4 weeks, just amazing... Even better that

Quotegeorgelicks QuoteJJHMick I'd like to know how are the sales figures of Blues records in general to have a comparison - or just total figures of the Billboard Blues Charts, georgelicks. Sales for blues albums are very low, the chart is a Top 15 so that gives a clue about the size of the blues market, maybe 500-800 copies for top 2-10 and 250-500 copies for a Top 11-15. Blue and Lonesom
