Mick says: "Thank you, Doug, thank you very much". Nothing more and nothing before the song. There were no real band introductions during that tour - only sometimes Ian McLagan is mentioned I quote that from a loose-leaf-"book" called "Words of Wonder" by Germans Andreas Zimmermann & Olaf Reuthebuch. If anyone's interested I'm still in contact with the

O.k., we’re fans of the same band but not the same team. But we should keep the band bit in mind and be nice to each other. Some of you seem to have a trauma, too: 1918, 1945, 1966 or so. The best goal keeper in the 50’s First Division was a German POW and he kept his goal clean during a FA cup final with a broken neck! 1966 … in or not, Stone Age computer simulations, the Soviet lines man-refe

Does it have to be Biggest Mistake? Most folks in this forum don't seem to be happy with it, Mick J? And the Stones non-hardcorers who would lift the single to a top position didn't buy Steets Of Love. To me there's no need for another (weak) slow song. But: Rough Justice on the other side wasn't such "experimental" to cause more interest (and higher sales figures)

Thank you for your response, I have seen 19 shows in Germany since 1982 which is certainly below average amongst the average Iorr'ers. But my impression is somewhat "data" proved: First of all, it only relies on Germany. I only once experienced rain once during those 19 concerts outdoors, but didn't freeze in that "silly rain" - a friend of mine from South Africa mad

Hi Hound Dog, I don't know which country you're from (I'm from Germany) but you actually wrote an overall manual on "marketing today"! I work for an pr agency that works for Smudo, singer of the probably most famous German hip-hop-act Fantastische Vier (= Fantastic Four = haha, neither Beatles, ABBA, or The Rolling...). So, I know him quiet well and though he sold more

We had a thread with Status Quo in it. I (I'm a journalist) actually interviewed Francis Rossi for 32 minutes on the phone but have to add this to the non-StatusQuo related (incredibly good live band, like AC/DC were in 2003 but otherwise the same: not half a dozen decent compositions!) thread: In the end of the interview I wanted to cheer him up by: "And now the most important question

I agree with all the non-Stones stuff she said but is she - nowadays - a source to Stones-info? (I somehow overread that viagra related stuff, as I was actually puzzled when my football hero - I'm German... - Pele started to advertise it?) Sorry, back to what I mean: If she started her answer with Patti phoned me on Tuesday or something like that, then I would axccept her as a source.

Did you (especially the Germans of course, and thus it's probably silly to write this in English...) ever notice that all summers of Stones' German/European tours were extraordinarily well? I mean in the sense of suntans and the quality of wine or whatever belongs to a long hot summer with a lawn that only grows brown? Do you remember all the so called "Jahrhundertsommer" (sum
