I didn't like Jack White on LC but what I did like was watching a guy who is an experienced performer, and seriously into rock n' roll, being plainly overwhelmed by the emotional tide of sharing the stage with the Stones. That is cool.

She Was Hot" Brown Sugar Far Away Eyes I am so positively pleased to see how many recognize She Was Hot is simply fantastic in this show. I always looked at it as a throw-away, filler-like rocker, well, here it's the song that delivers the most. Lisa Fisher howl while shaking her boobs at the end is priceless. Great rendition. A special mention is deserved for "Only

QuoteCharliMoonI think I should get my hands on a copy of that book, should I? Thanks for the hint. I would get it only if you were a book collector. I do collect them and the book contains great advices on how to keep them stored and a few suggestions about how to organize your library. If you are getting it only because of Keith's three or four shots, then, don't buy it.

That picture was published on a feature for GQ magazine a few years ago, I guess it was 2003 and the interviewer asked him what was he reading now. He answerd "How He Did It" by Baron Fayn, a book about Napoelon's day to day working pattern. I bought the book and was a great one, Other pictures from that session can be found in this book: At home with books

In Milan 2006, opening night of the European leg, we couldn't hear anything for the first 45 minutes of the show, only monitors and some vocals.

I have recently read Slash and Nikki Sixx's autooniographies and both say that while on the road they'd go cold turkey on heroin, so I have no problem to believe Keith did too, in substance abuse Keith is an amateur compared to Nikki Sixx.

QuoteSilver DaggerThe opening chords of Rain Song are the same as the opening chords to Something by The Beatles. I think Page and Plant jested that they could have written Something but The Beatles could never have written anything as complex as Rain Song. Kinda reminds me of the famous Dylanesque anectodote about him being able to write Satisfaction.

I read this very interesting post on It's from Nuno Bettencourt, guitarist for late 80s hard rock band extreme. It's about Led Zeepelin reunion, but, IMHO, it can apply to the Stones too. It's the spirit of what he wrote that caught my attention. Enjoy the way a true fan of rock n' roll has to say: EXTREME guitarist Nuno Bettencourt has penned a lengthy response t

Unfortunately there's never been a full edition of that concert on DVD. I do have a copy straight out of a Betamax tape I got from a friend of mine that used to work at MTV. A great show, even though if you read Slash's autobiography, it gets described by him as a pretty average one compared to some of the shows they were playing at the time.

What really bothers me at shows is people singin' at the top of their lungs. In the old days volume at shows was so loud that you could only hear the band, no matter how loud you screamed. Nowadays PA are way lower in volume so the whole shows gets ruined many times by people that need to scream the lyrics, those I would shoot. I don't mind people stretching their arms, it's a r

I have an iMac, my mother has an iMac, my girlfriend has a MacBook. Been using Macs for the last 15 years and they are very easy to use, have all the software you may need. Now with the Intel processors and Mac OS X Leopard you can also install Windows if you want to run Windows native applications. Macs are a bit more expensive compared to PC clones, but they save you the trouble of looking f
