I was only 6 when it came out, but my older brother had it and played it all the time. I fully appreciated it all when I was a bit older, and still fully appreciate it to this day. Had To Cry Today has some amazing guitar throughout, and Can't Find My Way Home stands the test of time as an all time classic imo.

Just saw Aretha live last week in Los Angeles and she is still absolutely amazing. My wife had tears in here eyes when Aretha sang her first notes of the night - it was really chills down the spine amazing! Unfortunately I heard she had to cancel tomorrow's show in Vegas "due to exhaustion".

QuoteNaturalust No doubt Page is his biggest fan. Nice read in any case, thanks Hairball. Good to hear that he has a new guitar project in the works. Yes it was a nice read, but as Keith would say "Talk is cheap"...it's about time we see some action! He's been talking about these deluxe editions for the past two years(?) now, not to mention the live presentations with a

To veer further off topic ... Here's a nice old clip of the late ska/reggae legend Joe Higgs who has been called the "Godfather of Reggae", and was also known to tutor Bob Marley and Jimmy Cliff when they were young in their early days. During the the intro he says: "May not sound like a reggae now...but it is". Joe Higgs- There is a reward for me Coming

Divide your loyalty between the Stones and The Beatles - you can't go wrong, and it's the most mature thing to do. Then listen to hundreds of other bands/artists and dozens of different types of music, and then everything will make sense in the world.

18 cd's of studio sessions from 1965 and 1966?!!! Might include multiple takes, versions, demo's, etc. of the same song. If that's the case, I'd happily settle for the 6 disc set of this, but was really hoping that a Blood On The Tracks 'Bootleg Series' would be next.

As I also pointed out, several of those things I quoted did call it reggae. And I didn't insist you were the only one that thinks it's not reggae, I said you "seem to be nearly the only one who doesn't think it's reggae". But again, we should agree to disagree. I say reggae, you say not. No big deal.
