Hello all, I must be a moron. I paid for a subscription and downloaded the show(s). For some reason when I try to convert the files from RAR to MP3, nothing happens. I am running Windows 7. The conversion software is FLACtoMP3.net. If anyone has any ideas as to what I am doing wrong, please let me know.

Hello all, I was listening to two different recordings of Hillside Blues. I noticed after the second break that there are 2 guitars playing slide (At least it sounded that way to me). Can anyone confirm/refute this? I've always assumed KR didn't play on Exile's Stop Breaking Down.Through earphones, it sounds to me like there are 3-4 guitar tracks on the song and one of them sou

What about Pete's vocals on Slave??? The song would have been NOTHING without his snarling, growling, absolutely crushing vocal!

That would be cool Ben. Maybe stop into his place while they're in Chicago. I met him a few weeks back when he was up here. I've also met him at his bar and it's cool how he just hangs out like the rest of the crowd. He seems to be a really nice guy.

The thing about Indian Girl is it "could" have been a good song if they tried to actually make a real country song out of it and used different lyrics. Musically, Indian Girl isn't all that bad (IMHO). The only redeeming thing about Streets of Love is that it isn't longer.

Hello all, Gibson.com posted this piece on Keith. Sorry if previously posted (YES! I am too lazy to look) I'm at work. Sorry but our firewall doesnt allow for the videos. Stone Alone: Keith Richards’ Solo Excursions Michael Leonard | 11.02.2012 Yes, the Rolling Stones are back. A fascinating sideshow to the Stones drama over the years has always been - what’s Keith Richards doing?

QuoteSonicDreamer What baffles me is that this album was supposed to be a return to the classic era rocker stuff, hence working with Jack Douglas..... so goin on these reviews WTF happened? Cheers, SonicD Actually Joe Perry had said in March that this wasn;t going to be a "Rocks" like disc. I agree about the ballads...........enough already! It's KR with his "I'm f

I dont know if that will ever happen Paul. I mean, as you said, the Stones are an organization. They aren't the punky little blues band that they once were. I doubt Mick would ever want to do a Honkin on Bobo type album.. Stripped not withstanding. Maybe Mick would be interested in doing a disc of the roots on World Music

You are right Paulm. Their new album is not what I had hoped but it's still pretty good. A lot of outtakes turned into songs---sounds like another band with 5 (I mean 4) members. Joe Perry seems to keep getting better as does the rhythm section (including Whitford). I know these guys have always been slagged for ripping off the Stones but the more I listen to Aerosmith, the more I fin

She was the percussionist He was really good on Jools. His version of Ball and Biscuit was great--far better than the one I saw.. Yup....he had a bad night. Aside from being disappointed in the show........I had a great night (Now that it's coming back to me). I really like Jools' show. When I was a little kid, I kind on thought that's what radio stations were like. A bun

I don't remember seeing either of them playing an ES with the Varitone knob on stage. If you look closely, the Varitone is clear on the Exile pix. What is the 4th pic from? I also thought KR was playing ES' in 68. I know he was an Epi Casino fan but I seem to recall pix of him with an ES maybe during the Beggar's sessions. I thought that one of them had a lighter colored ES as w
