Quotemighty stork What's wrong with going off the script during a 3 1/2 hour show? Considering they don't have it rehearsed and in their set list they do a pretty good job. Tell me you wouldn't like to see the stones do this request thing for a song or two instead of the online votes for the three songs they want to do? Thumbs up. It is all scripted of course. They did the same

I can't believe most people forget Buddy Guy! Beck, Page, Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Ronnie and Keith are just a few impressive names that are influenced by him.

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 QuoteSweetThing The Who at Rock and Roll Circus...and then decades later at a benefit..forget which... Of course we all know the Stones are the long distance runners that compare favorably more often than not in most metrics.... LOL, that is exactly what I was going to post. The Circus we all know about; and that might be debatable. But the NYC post 9/11 benefit

Quotekeefriff99 I'll take Keith over the Edge any day and twice on Sundays, but that doesn't mean I can't recognize the man's legit greatness. Finally, a very intelligent comment on another guitarist!!! You don't have to like someone's playing style to acknowledge his greatness. Cheers Keefriff99!

Interesting set up of the tour. Not many cities but all big cities and they all get multiple shows. They basically play back to back shows and have two days of for travel between cities. Six shows in Madison Square Garden!!!

Quotemorgan9 1. Sympathy - Ya Ya's 2. Miss you - Handsome Girls 78 disk 1. 9min 30 and the guitar is mind blowing for a fantastic studio jam I would also recommend Miss you on the complete Woodstock Tapes 17min 48sec Love it, Miss You is a great choice! I also love Beast of Burden from the same show. I remember hearing for the first time and I was blown away!

Quotebv I think they do North America to "keep warm". As we know they tend to "go rusty" if they rest too long. Better to get paid for a handful or two real gigs with a paying and excited crowd than three weeks of rehearsals in South America. Then they go south pretty fresh a few months later, and like in Adelaide, they do only need one week of rehearsals locally. Why couldn

Apparently Phil acted strange in court the other day. I just seen footage where he was blinking with one eye to the jury and jumped on the security guards back on the way to his car...

Who cares. Whatever we see on stage orin interviews is an act so you can't judge from that. They kept the act of not liking each other going for much longer then was probably the case because it's good publicity. Why wouldn't they not be friends is probably a better question. If you check out Darryls, Lisa and Bernards facebook or twitter pages you really get the idea that everyb

Sam Cutler wrote on his facebook page "I heard from members of the stones that Bobby Keys is really unwell and is in hospital - please send him your well wishes and love" Let's hope Bobby will get well soon! I saw him in Sydney in April with his solo band and he sounded great and was so nice and genuine when I posed for a picture with him after the show.

It's pretty much the only warhorse that they keep trying to play differently so if you want less warhorses I think another song should be chosen.

Quotemtaylor QuoteFather Ted As far as Keith is concerned, without Keith there is no band. Although I think the Stones would go on without Charlie or Ronnie. If Charlie, Mick or Keith says "no more", then it is over. They define "the band". I'd still love to see the Who one time just because I've never seen them but I don't really see them as the Who anymor

Quotedmay Has Keith still got any kind of voice left to really sing? From what I've heard him do during the Stones tours of the past few years, he's fast approaching Dylan in croaking out his tunes, if not already there. FYI: Loved seeing Keith during his Talk Is Cheap and Main Offender tours, but that Keith voice is long gone to my ears. Keith's voice was tremendous at the Syd

For me the greatest live number would either be Gimme Shelter or Midnight Rambler. At the moment it's Midnight Rambler from Hyde Park. I've played that version over and over again.

My review: I had awesome seats, fifth row Ronnies side against the catwalk. Hope Estate is an amazing venue for concerts and after the Sydney show I was looking to more than ever. 1. Jumpin' Jack Flash - Great powerful version 2. Let's Spend The Night Together- Lovely version, nice back up vocals from Keith. 3. It's Only Rock'n'Roll - Keith cut off Mick whils

The great thing about last night was how solid it was. Jagger had voice issues, not a problem, take it down a notch, back up singers step it up a bit and more guitar driven songs like Respectable and Bitch. Done! Keith's finger clearly were not moving around so easily, not a problem, he played less solo's and simplified ones but they fitted in perfectly. Done! The more I think about

Why are people suggesting that they should have more space between shows and anticipate more on their health? They only play two shows a week on this tour which is a lot less than what they used to do so they trying to be more careful! From what I understood from ticketmaster is that it is cancelled and everybody gets a refund. If there's a reasonable chance that can reschedule they would
