Quotebitusa2012 QuoteKRiffhard Quotestrat72 472 pages of bullshit....... ...and we like it Some do. I think it’s a shame. We are reduced to nonsensical posts, snippy replies, ridicule and wish lists. When the band just... well... Ronnie paints endlessly in whatever fashion he thinks may sell (he can’t seem to settle on his own style), Mick posts lovely Travel pictures of his time in Europe,

I watched the video of that show last night and stopped during YCAGWYW. Horrible playing, lousy interaction, sloppy guitars ... I understand that was the opening night for the US leg of that tour but despite nervousness it seems they were badly prepared. Can't also agree on that Keith "nailed his solo" in Sad Sad Sad. That was the worst performance of this song I've ever seen/

I assume that most pop and rock musicians had sex with underaged girls in the 1960s and 1970s, surely before in the 50s. I bet noone ever gave a damn on that.

I assume that all releases from the vault need approvement by the Stones, most arguably by Mick and Keith. I guess if they consider a concert being good enough to be released, it will be done. The footage from Knebworth '76 makes me doubt it will be released. Paris '76 were much better concerts, and that will be published for sure.

QuoteTubeman Keith is in the control room of Studio 1 of Germano usual haunt in New York, just messing around. Does anyone know the model of the bass I Know it is a Hofner Typical Variant of a Model 500 I cant determine the model or year It is very well aged so likely prior to 1970 I don't think he is mucking around in releasing new music for the stones, most recent record

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotedcba Keith obviously wanted to impress the Froggies. Did he ever start another gig with the jackhammer-like "999"? That was the only show. All the rest were Take It So Hard. Several shows were opened with "Somethin' Else".

Gimme Shelter's the archetype of classic rock. Rock'n'Roll's been defined by the 1950s artists, such as Elvis, Jerry Lee, Chuck, etc.

Call me Meise :-) I'm living close to the Polish border in Germany, city of Weisswasser. Born in 1973, fan since I was 10 years old (discovered a Stones LP in my fathers collection and been stuck to them since then). First concert 1990 in Frankfurt/Germany, 24 concerts plus Keith solo in Cologne followed. Play in a Stones tribute band myself.

Last night I listened to the CD "Mick Jagger live at Webster Hall". Haven't done for years and was amazed about Mick's vocal performance. That's truly a great concert, the sound was fantastic, the band was great and Mick seemed to be focussed on his singing.

How about a compilation of guest appearances, like happened during the ZIP Code Tour in the US? That would be highly interesting, besides that it'd bring fans of those to buy such a release ...

Quoteslewan hasn't there been a CD called '19 nervous breakdowns' featuring f*cked up live performances? I bought this one couple of years ago. Listened to it only once 'cause it hurt too much. Example: Keith learning a new song on 'Like A Rolling Stone'

Never really got into it. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I skip it. Basically, that's the only song on B&B that fitted as a single with the approach to make it into the charts. B&B's not one of their best albums, so why should FTC should have made better?

Funny to see you English still deal with that Empire thing. Hasn't the British Empire come to an end in the late 1940s? Didn't the collaboration change to the Commonwealth? Amazing, they still stick to it.

There's a load of outtakes from the Voodoo Lounge sessions. I assume that will be coming in 2024. Do we really need a deluxe version of each album? I'd prefer more live shows or documentaries from tours prior 1989. How about "World War III - the battle of Mick'n'Keef" ... ?

What amazes me most is that Mick never lost his voice in those days despite his singing to the limits. I'm a singer in a band myself and never had any singing education. Mick Jagger didn't have any singing education either until the grand tours starting with Steel Wheels. I know what it means being on stage and singing for hours. That is why I absolutely appreciate Mick's ability

My girlfriend was infected by Covid-19. She pretty much suffered from the loss of taste and smell, and particularly from joint pain and "lung burning". That took about 10 days and another three weeks before she finally felt much better. After nearly half a year, she still suffers from breathlessness on climbs. During the time when she was infectious, we were in quarantine together with
