Quoteslewan QuoteStonesfan2146 The structure of this tour will be an interesting thing to see. Did anyone noticed that the additional shows in 2021 sometimes only had 2 days of rest in between them? Those were shows added post Charlie, so I think the 3-4 days between shows rule was something he requested. Also I think the decision to do 15 dates per tour was made in his request too? So this tour

Wow Mick taking off his shirt during JJF was a surprise, didn't know he still did that in 1997. And look at Keith riffing during that song, so cool!

Definetely agree, this could be well over 10 mins long and would still be an amazing song. And I bet they played it out for hours in the studio. I am not quite a tennager anymore - 23 - but for some reason fell in love with it just now. Got a little sad when I found out they played it the last time in 2013 while doing the arena tour. Haha I will probably not sell my car for it, don't wo

Do you also know those moments when you listen to a Stones song you liked but never paid lots of special attention to, and then one day you listen to the album version and it just feels like a perfect piece altogether? With Memory Motel that was the case with me during those past few days, the song just hits in a very unique way, so impressive that it's even shivers and tears, but it'

Is there any reason 8 stamps with 1.70p each cost no more than 10p total in the cheapest offer? Shouldn't it be 13.60p total?

They won't do a US tour next year. They repeated the markets they did in 2013/2015 with the 2019/2021 tour, now they will head to Europe. Didn't some people here know something about a Tribute concert where the stones will take part too in December in England?

I completely forgot about this, but one or two days before the Charlotte show Mick did an interview and he was asked about how much he runs on stage, and the reporter told him some number he read somewhere, like 11 miles or something, and they chatted about it for a little bit. In the end the reporter asked if Mick ever tracked the miles per concert again and he said something like he didn't

Quotecrawdaddy My fault Stonesfan2146, as I was the one that was off topic and thought it best to make a new thread of it all. I do remember meeting a really nice guy from Croatia way back, when myself and brother in law were in Budapest for The Stones gig on the hottest day ever there with over 40c and so, so hot. He used to post here whenever a Tour was happening, but not heard from him for a

Finally found your thread crawdaddy, you were right I was a little off topic in the other one. So you know it already, but just for the thread, coming in from Germany through Croatia for 3 concerts in October and early November and gonna arrive on Sunday in NYC where my girlfriend is currently working. Right now I'm still doing these concerts per live thread too and there's just

I can just second that. He puts on an absolutely amazing performance and the belt he's wearing right now is the one he was wearing a lot on the a bigger bang tour, you can see him wear it on the released Austin concert and shine a light. Fits him really well. It's not even easy to think about how old he is and how amazing he still performs, his power seems to never fade.

Wow I didn't know Charlie was well enough to play in a studio just not too long before his passing. I respect the privacy around his health but sometimes I find myself starting to really wonder what happened there. So sad.

It really depends on the venue, the staff and the tour. I got lucky dips 8 times so far and 5 of these ended up being pit tickets, and sometimes you'd get to choose an envelope, sometimes you'd have one prepared with your name in a folder, sometimes they choose for you. But I gotta say that I didn't report what I got when I didn't get pit tickets haha, even though I still g

Alright, yeah that's what really surprised me too, even in Manhattan you can walk around and pretty much get everywhere you'd want to go as a tourist but if you'd walk around LA Google maps gives me walking times of many hours.

Quotejmd There’s an In-N-Out in the shopping center on Century east of Yukon that’s open until 1am. It may work for a pickup. If Uber is $till $urging, according to Google maps there’s a bus stop there for #117 to get back to LAX hotels. We will probably end up either taking that one or the 212. Uber is probably just too much. I'll also keep that spot in mind, thanks! Also good to kno

QuoteDan Line 212 which late night terminates/starts catty corner from the Vons on Manchester and goes up La Brea to Hollywood. The Vons is open to 12, there are other concert goers taking the 212, the Vons or the restaurant parking lot across the street where the bus stop is might be a good spot to catch a rideshare. Not even sure if I would walk down Century or take any alternate routes

QuoteDeanGoodman QuoteStonesfan2146 Just searched for the Manhattan Beach Pier on Google and oh wow that looks like something so cool to do too. Of course there's a tenuous connection between the Rolling Stones and Manhattan Beach. I never really got what the Manhattan beach tour name was about when it first went public. Was it really the title for the bigger bang album and got changed l

I just did check on Google maps and the 117 actually works perfectly as we are only 3 blocks away from Century Blvd., thanks so much! Regarding the homeless people and it being a little more dirty, don't worry, we have places in Hamburg that fit in that category pretty well too. Hey jmd, the idea we got is to try and get an Uber from somewhere around the stadium, maybe a McDonalds or some
