And in July 2022 there will be 60 years from their first live concert. I'm disappointed if they won't celebrate this achievement by performing live.

All respect for Charlie but I'm really hoping for European stadium tour next summer In Helsinki there is a totally renewed stadium and they haven't been to Helsinki since 2007... Stockholm or Oslo would be really nice too, of course!

Black and Blue would be my personal favorite but It's Only Rock'n Roll, Voodoo Lounge or even Steel Wheels would be also interesting.

QuoteWitness QuoteTaylor1 QuoteKRiffhard QuoteHairball Both versions are very poor. ...horrible song. Its funny, and everyone is entitled to their opinion ,but in my opinion it’s a great song with great lyrics.I love a lot of Micks solo music like this,Say You Will ,Throwaway,Goddess in a Doorway, Don’t Tear Me Up, Charmed Life, and songs he did with the Stones like Out of Control, Blinded by Rain

And "Time Waits For No One" is a very special Stones song... Mick Taylor playing is absolutely beautiful on that one. I like the whole record very much. The overall sound and feeling is great. GHS is more special album though I must admit.

Quote24FPS Gosh, is there a post ABKCO era Stones album of any prominence? IORR isn't a biggie. Dance Little Sister is a biggie IMHO.

James Brown songs absolutely... For example "I feeld good". Jagger would already be a huge fan himself and he would know how to move. Also some Prince stuff could be nice.

And some real good tv-documentary about him also would be real nice. Thanks! I don't know if he is too modest personality for the music business or why no one seems to be interested of doing anything about him?

QuoteDandelionPowderman It's a coloring book Okay, even that! Could somebody make a real book about him! He deserves it. He has had unique style and unique skills especially when he was younger. He is clearly an underrated player outside of the hardcore Stones' fan community.

I guess Chris and Mick are pretty close and very goog terms with each other, but in one interview Chris said: "We are both not very talented in anything spefically, but the point is getting the most out of oneself..." or something like this. I mean, Mick is a superstar (Chris is not) and very talented person in several areas: As a songwriter, as a performer (one of the best in the wo

I miss that Urban Jungle Tour stage design. Those lights were absolutely mesmerizing... After the big screens came, there has never been quite the same feeling. In 1989/1990 there was fantastic lighting system. The lights were always different when the songs changed and so the whole mood changed with the lights also. With big screens that doesn't happen very much. In the dark night th

Quotewonderboy I don't care for Dirty Work, but Thief in the Night is one of the songs I come back to quite frequently, late at night, headphones. Most of the things the rock press says about Keith Richards are just the legend; the fact that he came up with incredible songs like this that nobody knows about is amazing. It's like there is this other Keith standing right in front of us

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotedeardoctor Quotetreaclefingers Quotedeardoctor I love DW. It´s about the bad production, tons of reverb and awful synthesizers. Ged rid of that, add some outtakes and yoou get a masterpiece. I don´t care about ABB and "Blue and Lonesome". I alway would choose DW! If you take out the bad performances and poor songwriting as well, you'd have a near perfe

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotekowalski Just bought an original Wandering Spirit LP for next to nothing. Horrible cover but what a great album it is... It is a horrible cover... but it sticks out, kinda like TATTOO YOU. I think all the album covers of his solo albums are horrible. And the WS in not even the worst of them! Album itself is very good though. It's odd when compared to the Stone

Those CDs were sold separately but a pair SF/EOMS in outer paper sleeve and Japanese 2005 A Bigger Bang World Tour 2005-2006 This one contains only 8 studio albums. On the other hand there were two European boxes on CBS The CBS Collection [465 892 2] (10 studio albums) and Collection 1971-1989 [466 918 2] (15CDs in total

Quotenick Virgin remasters can be found on Discogs, eBay, etc in new and used condition. There are even some good deals on those 8 Virgin "1st Collectors Edition" CD's. The 2nd batch of Japan SACD's are very good and yes while expensive, a box of those would be extremely pricey also. I don't know what quality the Italian Box is but it's not official and Discogs wo

I was wondering for the post 1969 stuff especially... 1994 Virgin remasters are long time sold out (as new) and everyone seems to think that 2009 remasters are quite horrible so there are no great cd remasters available as new at all? (except the japanese sacds of course) The cd situtation is a little bit strange I think. For the pre 1969 stuff, of course, the situation is much better. D

I wonder what kind of equipment is needed to really utilize these cds? Some kind of MQA dac maybe? Is there even a cd player in the market whicd has an integrated mqa decocer inside? You can play these discs in a normal cd player without any dac but then the sound quality is the same as in the standard cds.

There seems to be at least 3 different Ladies and Gentlemen box sets? One with a very thick box and a silver coloured tongue logo (for example Amazon Uk is selling these), and the other one with a much thinner box and a different coloured tongue logo (for example Amazon.com is selling these), the contents seem to be very near each other though? But very confusing.... Amazon.uk version seems to be
