Mick's and Keith's love for performing live to the audience. Mick has said he often dreams about performing even when he is on holiday. Also Mick and Keith don't mind the touring lifestyle. Some artistis hate touring even if they would like to perform but Mick and Keith also like to be on the road. That's not any bigger problem for them. Instead, they seem to enjoy it. S

QuoteRocktiludrop Quoterollingon OT but just noticed: Keith has put a little weight on? I'm just watching the youtube clips from the yesterday's concert. In 2006-2007 I remember he still was very slim. Maybe the Covid 2019 has kept him at home so long that there has not been very much activity. Or if he has quit smoking? Then it's really common to gain weight, I guess....

They can still deliver over 2 hour intense rock show and that is quite remarkable I think. I would totally understand if they wouldn't do quite that anymore but it's fantastic they still can do it.

QuotePhillyFAN Very touching to see Keith and Mick holding hands. They really do love each other. I think that the loss of Charlie has been so big for both of them that it has brought them closer to each other again. Keith and Ronne look quite sad in some pictures also so it's obvious that everyone of them are thinking about Charlie.

QuoteNilsHolgersson Quoterollingon Mick seems to be in really good shape. It's almost unreal how good he is physically considering his age. And the self confidence in everything he does on stage, it's amazing. I don't know if there has been anyone in pop music history who has been so vital in his age. Not that I know of! BTW, What has happened to Ronnie's old hair style (almost his trademark!)? He looks a little odd to me now. Okay, Ronnie has had some medical operation and treatment, so I apologise for my comment.

The grey hair color makes a person look like a little older. I think when I saw Keith first with grey hair, he somehow seemed to me a like an older person. But if he likes to keep it that way, it's absolutely okay by me.

I'm sure that both Mick and Ronnie dye their hair but I think that's absolutely okay! Mick's brother has very similar hair as Mick otherwise but his hair is totally grey... Ronnie's hair seems far too perfect color to be his own color... I must admit that I woudn't even like very much if they all would have grey hair. It really wouldn't be their style. N

QuoteNikkei When asked about timing it comes to mind that sometimes Keith seems to come in late for his solo but at the best of times his timing still seems to be right on time Yes, that is not a bad performance. It seems he has a litte trouble if he has to move fingers fast across the fret board a long distance...

In 81-82 tour I think Keith played quite much also solos and he was pretty precise back then... In Let Me Go there was a quite long guitar solo part and he handled it pretty well but of course that's a long time ago.

Of course, Ronnie most often plays the solos and his timing is pretty precise and he seems to have pretty fast fingers, but Keith's timing is often quite loose and to my taste sometimes too loose. I wonder if he is doing it by purpose (some kind of style thing?) or does he have some kind of physical problems with his fingers? When he plays riffs I can't notice any bigger problems.

Mick Really puts everything he has on the song... Nowadays Mick is a little bit more "controlled" I think... In 70s they had many at the same time loose, spontaneous feeling but very powerful and exciting live performances... Like Brussels Affair is. Of course in this flatbed truck case it's easier to play one song in maximum level than 2 hour concert.

Jagger/Richards have earned millions of dollars of roaylties according to this article just for the Verve's song Bitter Sweet Symphony.... (sammple of The Last Time Andrew Loog Oldham Orchersta version used in the song) A new deal was made later: Mick and Keith gave all the writing credits back to The Verve's Richard Ashcroft in 2019. ABKCO still has all the publishing rights for

I found this old thread and "Mathijs" seems to know this stuff quite well: Apparently all the royalties (both publication and copyright royalties) are somehow divided between ABKCO and the Stones. Andrew Loog Oldham gets some royalties for period over 1964-1967 (Klein gave him a certain share). In addition the royalty share rules there are some very strict rules in their contr

According to this site all the royalty stuff seems to be quite complicated... "Mechanical royalties" (for example LPs and cDs and streaming services): If I understood right Jagger/Richards should have their writers share for the master recording always for their own songwriting (but I don't know if the law was different in 1965-1971 and if that changes things for the ABKCO e

Do the Stones earn any money from anything 65-71 material? If the material is played in the radio? If the albums are sold? I do undestand that they don't control the publishing rights of the material (Sticky Fingers control is somehow divided if I have understand correctly?) but I have often wandered that do they get anything at all from the material from that period? If so then h
