As i can see around, thanks to the Internet, the huge majority of Press reviews are really positive reviews. And the rest reviewers? The generality of them arrive (even ... half- heartadly) at final conclusions like "it was a good show", "decent", etc, despite their various reproofs witch are sometimes inconceivable, judging from what my own ears tell to me. Because, sorry, PI

Yes, "Fingeprint File" could be soundtrack of a comment about the current US goverment policy. And also: "Street Fighting Man" - as for what happens today in Turkey and maybe tomorrow in the Southern Europe. "Lies"- as a comment on many "official explanations" about the global financial and social crisis. Some lyrics from "Rock And The Hard

"I'm happy to have the Stones with us and playing at a fairly high level. I'm about done with this board. The people here have become tiresome". I think the huge majority of the people who interest in the Stones music are happy for the same reason, Slew. Don't leave the board due to the ATTAFEC Party ("All The Time And For Everything Complainers"). Just stay

Thrylan, "Some Girls" was the 14th and 'Tattoo You" the 16th band's album. So, the Stones had stuff enough to play much more than 33 and 37 different songs totally on 1978 and 1981 tour respectively, IF they wanted to. But they NEVER in their career kept a line of doing several changes in the setlists during the same tour. That's what a tried to say.

Sincityboy, your post is really touching. But don't be gloomy. Maybe it was the last time for you, but the Stones will be "rolling" forever in our blood, in our mind, in our soul, for sure. The music, the memories, the expiriences from the gigs...And you know something? The Stones are ending their unbeliveble career (i hope elongating the tour, until the end of the 2014, in order t

It's funny the fact that many fans here do demand more variety on the set list, but at the same time they are idolizing the "lists policy" from the 70s, when the Stones were playing only 33 different songs on an entire tour (1978) or even fewer... Today, thanks to You Tube, anyone can "attend" every gig. So, many fans are feeling "tired" from the lists, even

Thanks "Georgelicks". So by the measures of 2012, "Grrr" (which, as we know, came out at the end of the 2012) would be one of the 25 year's best selling albums! And we are talking abouta a 3 cd set, that had been "taunted" by many fans ("usulless compilation", "who the hell need it", etc)... I think the particular level of "Grrr!"

"Grrr!" has sold very well worldwide, given the factors Thrylan mentioned. “Grrr!” stayed for 12 weeks on World Top 40 (“Mediatraffic”) , having sold 1,189,000 copies. I don’t know what happens since 13th week, as i’ m not… Georgelicks. I mean, my only source was “Mediatraffic”. But for sure 1,2 milllion copies is already a very strong number, by the current sales standards. Just

"Can't imagine Stones doing several shows in Brazil - not at all in stadiums, ticket prices too high" Mtaylor, i think everywhere the Stones do gigs in stadiums or huge parks (Europe included), the prices will be for sure much lower than the level of the current northamerican arena tour. But in any case, yes, we have to expect more shows in Argentina than in Brazil. Great ne

Yes, but also it is clear that the Stones have pushed his abilities forward, as Taylor himself once said (if memory helps, his admission is included in "25 X 5" documentary). MT has right. I have seen three Taylor's gigs on 90s. The performances were obviously lower than the le

Well said Dandelion. You made a simple, but absolutely apposite remark. The whole band sounds very good on this tour - and not only on MR, YCHMK and "Satisfaction", of course... Everyone is happy to see Mick Taylor performing with the Stones, after four decades. But i can't understand why on earth some people, sometimes, are thinking that this entrancement have to be turned into th

Just heard GOMC from Chicago #2, from a clip that has a better sound than the usual. I think the song works very well as opening number. Judging from what i can hear, the guitars are doing really good job. And the crowd seems to be enthousiastic. I think the song it's OK as opener. And it sounds clearly better compared to the ABB versions. But, despite my disagreetments with WhatISay as for how we are rating the song's performances on this tour, i have to admit that he has a point asking "something that is a little more straightforward to play". But what exactly? SMU or JJF? Again? IMO, generally speaking, a great
