I highly recommend Garfunkels restaurant just opposite the Odeon cinema in Leicester Square, lovely food and great service. Not too pricey either.

Quotegotdablouse So wasn't that the movie for which they were doing interviews earlier this year and even had some rehearsals recorded? Looks like they didn't use any of it. Hard to believe there's zilch after 1981 ! Wouldn't surprise me if that footage will feature on the inevitable deluxe version. Quite unrelated but interesting is this keith interview from the red c

You may wish to look at easyhotels the easyjet branch of hotels, for a bog standard room they are pretty cheap they are all over London. The easyhotel in the Barbican area of the city is relatively speaking close to the o2 arena. I'm staying in another one in West London, cost me £44.00. Also, although a 40 minuteish tube ride I do recommend Huttons Hotel in Pimlico, West London fairly cheap

By the looks of it no tickets for the Brussels Affair were put on sale, I checked 3o minutes before and nothing was available, then nothing was available at 9:00 and just after so Ticketmaster or Bravado have cocked up somewhere..

Quote999 QuoteRollin92 Was hoping to get £166 tickets through this presale, doesn't look as if this will be the case FYI, the 166£ tickets through the yesterday's Amex presale were for the block 409 on row T I decided not to buy them even if I saw much worse deals later (some 326£ tickets also on crappy rows on level 4)... WHAT A SHAME...NOTHING SEEMS TO BE GOIN' RIGHT Just

This post is probably a bit inane so appologies for that but as I've never been to a Stones show before nor a major concert I'm unsure about the chances of obtaining a ticket and the best possible way of doing so. I've read conflciitng posts over the past few months regarding this so I was wondering; From people's experience in the Uk is there a good chance of being able to

QuoteGravityBoy Quotevudicus QuoteGravityBoy Is that Bill's DIY bass? It's a new signature model based on his original, with some changes Ah.. OK. I'm interested. Thanks. On a recent trip to London I popped into the Bass centre and had a go on this bass, a bit on the pricey side but it has a lovely tone, very mellow, and a very light instrument as well

Quotemarcovandereijk QuoteRolling92 although I can't say I've heard of the earing here in the UK Aaah, don't say that! The Golden Earring is one of the few good bands from my country that I feel rightfully proud of. They even started (under the name of Golden Earrings) before the Stones did and are still rocking well. Here's some clips to get to know them:

Could someone translate what the chap with white hair says before Bill is asked whether he may play with the Stones? I've heard but "don't tell anybody" he might play with the Stones again...by the way the man with the white hair is the guitarist of the earing ;o)
