I actually think they have an album and are holding onto it for a 2022 release to coincide with the 60th anniversary. It's rather fitting.......color me optimistic!

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but the Las Vegas show is now requiring masks worn for the entire concert, regardless of vaccination status. There's a new message shown when you look at tickets on Ticketmaster. This is the only show of the tour that is requiring masks for all. It's a requirement throughout Las Vegas. IE it applies to the casinos too

These guys are in their late 70s, so I have to ask all the naysayers, would you rather not see Mick and Keith play? I’ve seen a ton of stones shows since 1978 and in the year 2021 I’ll take what I can get….

As pointed out elsewhere, COVID isn’t going away but life goes on. Get vaccinated if you aren’t already, wear a mask and go to the show!

Quotepodiumboy Why does anybody believe that 2022 is going to be any better? There will be another variant. There will be more deaths. There will still be plenty of people who won't get the vaccine. We have to either figure out how to live with this virus and let life continue, or we accept a life of restrictions, lockdowns and cancellations as the new normal. It likely won’t get any b

Well, we'll see how the concert industry goes. A lot of indoor shows in theaters and clubs across the country are scheduled after Labor Day weekend. It will be interesting to see how much of that happens. Bay Area theaters begin holding shows, the Capitol in New York and so on.

Unless sporting events in these same stadiums start to curtail attendance I think these shows will happen as scheduled. It's hard to argue you can play football but not have a concert. It's expensive to cancel or postpone a show, so if an external force doesn't cause a cancellation if nothing else economics will dictate the show goes on. That said there is a long road between now a

Quoteillyad1960 all this talk about no Charlie I believe will for nothing. After reading about the troubles Garth Brooks is having with his stadium tour and Covid I think this Stones tour gets cancelled. Too much risk with delta variant floating around. Garth Brooks plays to the unvaccinated Fox crowd, that’s his audience. He should cancel.

Why not bring in a kick-ass young guitarist to stand in the shadows and play what Keith cannot anymore, like many aging bands do? Without Charlie its not the Rolling Stones its going to be the Rolling Stones Revue starring the Glimmer Twins, backed by the Chuck Leavall Orchestra. You're forgetting they already did this in the 90s with Blondie Chaplain et all......that huge touring band wa

QuoteMisterDDDD Understand the concerns of course. But, the latest data, including the Delta variant, proves statistically, one is in more danger, as it pertains to serious illness or death, traveling by car to get to the shows. Of course, things will change, and people need to take the precautions while traveling and attending, but the biggest precaution is getting fully vaxxed, and tested befo

Quotechriseganstar This tour is really in the lap of the Gods, it could go either way. There are other reasons than Covid which are causing concern. there is no doubt this tour will happen. There is zero chance that baseball or American Football will stop having fans and outdoor concerts are no different. At most there will be proof of vaccination requested, but the shows will go on. It's

QuoteHairball The fact that Jethro Tull isn't in the Hall of Fame is one of the main reasons the HOF is a pile of crap. I totally agree. When Aqualung came out Tull was as big as the Zeppelin and remained a solid draw through Storm Watch. Stand Up, Aqualung, Thick as a Brick and Songs From The Wood should have them in the HOF.

But he's lamenting the rise in cases and placing the blame straight at unvaccinated people. If you asked me what he does isn't funny enough to warrant driving the wedge further between people. The unvaccinated people are the reason this thing continues to perpetuate and they are dragging the rest of us back into it, period.
