I recall being in the crowd at Newcastle way back in 1982 (I was only 18 then) and I got chatting to this guy from Lincoln and him saying this would definitely be the last time and I'm thinking to myself how lucky I was to catch them before they quit!

QuoteTumblinDice76 This is exactly why I still get paper tickets. I don't trust anyone's websites. Too easy yo hack. Against my better judgement I bought tickets to Iron Maiden and they do not even have an option for paper tickets. All it takes is me hearing something odd like this happening to someone else to make me retire from concert going in the near future. I agree.I'm a di

QuoteAquamarine There was a Zeppelin reunion (sort of), and it did raise a lot of money for charity, but it was for a very specific reason--Ahmet Ertegun's widow asked them to play in his honor, which was the only reason Plant agreed to do it. It's just not going to happen again, no matter what good reasons could be given for it. Ditto Pink Floyd. With Geldof's gentle coaxing

I watched it last weekend and it's very interesting. Interviews with a lot of Johnson's relatives, writers and musicians. Details what a sad, short life Robert Johnson had but left such a powerful and influential legacy. Well worth a watch.

Man what a voice, talent and an influence on so many especially Bowie. One of my favourite albums of all time is Tilt. It's not to everyone's taste but it struck such a chord with me.

I would go to the extent of saying that Ronnie has 'carried' the band guitar-wise on stage on past tours especially after Keith took his tumble from the tree. Wish they'd give him one solo slot on a Stones show but it's never gonny happen. A Legend and still has that boyish aura.

I wasn't a huge Prodigy fan but what an energetic performer and iconic image he had. By all accounts a lovely man and always accessible. Far too young to pass. Another gone on that tragic Rock n Roll path.

Good point Rockman, statistics bear out people who record such things like that don't watch them. Bit like holiday videos ya make... Who's gonny watch a shaky, blurred image with poor sound when you can pay a zillion bucks to watch it on Ultra-HD disc with 5.1 sound!?
