Thanks! Great, just great. He has aged like a fine wine. There used to be a stunning Lefty Dizz clip on Youtube from the Checkerboard Lounge gig in Chicago with the Stones and Muddy Waters (1981, incl Buddy Guy). I can't find that clip anymore. Does someone have it? Please post it then!

Heard that first in Eriksberg, Gothenburg in the summer of 1990. Seems to me Keith is basically very shy. In public he has a hard time stringing together more than two sentences. And what he says is often hardly audible. It sounds like a drunken slur... .

The Police, off course! Pretty soon I´ll be listing fifty good "white" english reggaebands... . But then again if I really wanna listen to reggae I´ll put on a Bob Marley or Jimmy Cliff record.

Well, I was just stating my personal opinion (and a quote i heard from Johnny Rotten once...). Maybe there are many good white english rockbands who does reggae well, but they have all escaped me (except The Clash then). I remember UB 40 though, but they weren´t a rockband to start with (as far as I know).

I don´t! I wouldn´t even call it a song, it´s a long pointless jam (with a horrible 80`s synthesized drumsound). Stones never really got away with reggae (like most other white english rockbands).

The fact that this book comes out now: isn´t that a sign that it´s all over now? I mean if the tour was on - shouldn´t Keith wait til after the tour to spill his guts?

I would have loved all these reissues in the eighties or the nineties. Now, the thrill is gone. It´s too little too late. Were all getting old, time waits for no one... .

Correction: His grandparents were swedish circus artists, not his parents. Read it all on Wikipedia. The name Harry Nilsson is quite a common name in Sweden, though the artist Harry Nilsson isn´t that well known. Probably because he didn´t live in Sweden.

The swedish tabloid Expressen has a five-star review of the film. Per Hägred went to the premiere in Copenhagen, Denmark. He says "This might very well be the best rock concert ever"! Here is the link: This was my first contribution to IORR Talk Forum. Since I´m swedish, english is only my second language. So I hope you won´t judge my "swenglish" to hard!
