Quoteretired_dog QuoteJordyLicks96 Ahhh!! Thank you soooo much!! Listening now, trying to figure out what time period these songs come from as the dates listed on the album art seem to be wrong. Not an easy task, because original recording dates and dates of overdubs and lead vocals may differ considerably in many cases. But whatever, this collection will give us food for thought for probabl

QuoteRockman If Charlie was a guitar player he'd be Steve Cropper .... Absolutely. If you gave the Stones a superficial listening maybe you'll find Charlie is doing always the same, but at a closer hear he never plays the same. Those two strokes at Start me up's intro are a clear example: no other drummer would come up with such an idea. Why stroke the hi-hat on the third beat? S

Quotesdstonesguy Is this when BV allows politics on the board? It gets hard to know when it is ok. Seemingly, Maradona's death is the appropriate time. It is sad to see people here supporting General Videla and the Dirty War side of politics. Maybe Rega was more your cup of tea. Who supports Videla here? Maybe you need new glasses. It's all about football, and his greatest man.

QuoteDGA35 A number of posts say the greatest of all time. I don't follow soccer but I know who Maradona is. Was he better than Pele? The eternal struggle. Pele was amazing, and was always surrounded by amazing players. Brazil in 1970 was not only Pele. But Maradona in 1986 did have soldiers on his back, not amazing players. I think that's a pretty big difference. And also Messi, wh

My name is Diego, born in 1982, my father is a proud Argentinos Juniors fan and did watch the guy playing with 16 years old. I was talking to my relatives, and it was amazing. One is Boca Juniors fan, other River Plate fan, and other Independiente fan. All of them went at some game just to watch that boy with long curly hair. And they all tell the same: all rivals ended on the floor, ashamed. Gat

QuoteFernandobsas Hi, Im from Argentina and would like just to add another point of view of Diego Maradona becouse I think or I feel that people are criyng somebody like Churchill. Diego Armando Maradona was and incredible soccer player, one of the best of the times, but was only a soccer player, like a person he was and ass..le, he spend more than the half of his life beeing a cocaine addi

Quotemike567 At first listen I did not really like Mick's new vocals, but now I'm getting more and more into it. Also a bit of a pity that Nicky's piano is buried in the mix, always loved that about the outtake version. Absolutely. Nicky's piano is amazing on "Her ass" outtake

At a first listen, it's ok. Nice chords. Great riff. Not that much. Fourth listening, with cancellation of center channel to find below the surface, and you can hear vintage Keith singing! At least I her him. Stu on `piano for sure, from 1:21 on clearly. And playing C#minor chord!! Haha.

Having only listened to RT, I'm amazed. Always love to hear new Nicky Hopkins' renditions. Of course it's Nicky, I have studied his playing. But I'm also confused with the rest. Jagger sounds 66-67. And also Nicky is playing backing piano, as he used to do in 67. If it is from the Jamming Edward' sessions, he sure will be playing more licks in the higher register. In 69 h
