Finished listening to it. Very nice collection. For me it just makes no sense that the 4 tracks including Cops and Robbers were separated for On Air. Unforgivable! Those 4 songs form a complete set, and actually that broadcast has a historical significance. Why can't they release complete BBC session CD's? I finished listening to it. The quality is Good, Very Good- in my opinion. However, somehow this concert feels very unfocused and unrehearsed. Perhaps Bramhall was the one who stood out. Keef was just terrible in every sense of the word. Out of tune and out of breath singing. I know that he doesn't care much about singing into the microphone, and here it's also pretty evident.

Mick Taylor played with so many big and not so big names (Mayall, Dylan, Jack Bruce, Grateful Dead, Alvin Lee, Mike Oldfield, Carla Olson, Jimmy Wood etc.) and nothing came of it. Somehow only made a long lasting impression with The Rolling Stones. His solo albums are mostly forgettable, I hardly listen to them. (I probably like A Stone's Throw with the bonus tracks the most.) Just sad... A

It's a great pairing. I couldn't care less about Wilson. But Jeff is my fav. And Paul Rodgers is a great voice, and did a great song or two with Jeff on the Muddy Waters album. I remember reading how badly Ritchie Blackmore wanted Rodgers. I can see why. But that Queen collaboration... I hope bootlegers are warming up for this! I wanna hear some nice recordings of this tour.
