Rank Stranger! Thanks! Yes! That's the site I was looking for! Cheers! TooTough! Yes! TTS is amazing. By far the best in the Bootleg Series. The Basement Tapes are a close second! You gotta own the 3CD TTS! Every track is a gem.

Quotebuttons67 2001 was a classic and voted the best sci fi film ever, it is confusing though, but worth a couple of viewings although kubrik gets a lot of credit but never underestimate arthur c clarke role as he had a huge understanding of space and sci fi topics. on the subject of sci fi i prefer the time machine or the day the earth caught fire. I thought Blade Runner was voted the

I don't know... All versions of Dead Flowers that I've heard are pretty similar to the original version by The Stones. And this one was no exception... I still love CR's voice... Black Crowes was the last great rock & roll band.

QuoteRocky Dijon "See What Happens" is the only one I would trade out. Jimmy Miller's production makes "Child of the Moon" part of BEGGARS to me. I would add "We Love You" and "Dandelion" after "2000 Man" to round out Side One. Child of the Moon is in my Top 10 Stones songs. I am not sure if it would fit on any of their albums.

QuoteHairball Interesting that she's only released one album of her own back in 1991. Aside from singing Stones, Zeppelin, Robert Palmer, and Police covers, wondering if she sings anything of her own? Also wonder if she has any plans to release another album on her own seeing that it's been over 25 years since her last...might help her career Doesn't sound like a solo career, d

QuoteMrEcho Great performance by Keith and as you point out, fantastic vocals. I think Norah Jones did OK, Sarah Dash's vocal on the original is hard to match. There is only one Sarah Dash. One thing I would like to add is that the combination of Charles Hodges (organ and piano), Archie Turner (keyboards) and Leroy Hodges (bass) playing with Keith is so much better than Chuck Leavell, Matt C

Quotespikenyc Great Quality vids here: Happy Make No Mistake Nice recordings, especially Make No Mistake. This rendition's beauty rivals Slipping Away's from the recent tour. I like it when Keef is not riffing, just picking those beautiful notes. Those first two solo albums from the Winos are true classics -- all songs are memorable, catchy, you hear them once and they st

Does anyone know what is the music heard in Rock & Roll Circus before Jethro Tull when Jagger makes his announcement? It's a circus theme, I believe.

QuoteWinning Ugly VXII This was obviously an intentional move by Apple. The whole ALAC thing. Just the same as all of their proprietary connectors. They are clearly trying to tie people into their ecosystem as much as possible. This exactly why I try to avoid anything Apple. iPhone has so much limitations too. (No micro card, limited hard disc size, doesn't work as a USB device, connecto

QuoteIrix Quotefrenki09 So i would be great if you all could agree on a format, resolution that is doable, and not as big in size as WAW. Simple: use ALAC with the iPod Classic. The ALAC-files have the same size (apart from some Bytes) as the FLAC files. Both, ALAC and FLAC are lossless and interchangeable. I've converted (with XLD) a plain FLAC-file (w/o Meta-Data) to ALAC -

Quote24FPS Hmmmm. Jumping on Bill regarding underage females. I believe Jagger/Richard wrote Stray Cat Blues about a 13-year-old girl. I mean it's not a capital crime. I like Palace Revolution's comparison of Chuck to Stu. Perfect. After Bill walked away the Stones ran out of luck when it came to memorable musicians. Distinctive sound. You can tell when it's Nicky, or Stu playi
