QuoteMingSubu QuoteAquamarine QuoteBliss QuoteAquamarine QuoteBliss I have always thought of heroin as a means of blotting out pain or of dealing with a terrible life. Yet everyone mentioned above had no reason to blot out pain - they were young, attractive people in the midst of a marvellous free environment, living lives of priviledge and pleasure. And the song addresses itself to what they w

hello everyone. Yesterday afternoon in front of the Waldbühne-Gates: A 19 year old girl and her friend 20 years old in a tent to camp there until gates open today 1700 set. "You are big fans?" I asked. "Yessss!" "How long?" Answer: "Since three month!" Laughed out loud. Very neat and wonderful Stones Story.

QuoteHis Majesty Lets put it this way, a whole lot of people enjoy or do not enjoy the band through many official and bootleg recordings of concerts they never attended. Are their impressions only valid when they are positive? It is ok to judge and either like not like a show from a recording. Also, not everyone hears the concert the same in the venue nor does everyone enjoy it. In so

It´s funny and it´s for every show since IORR is existing: The people who are physically there love the songs/performance. The people who are at home and try to follow the show just by watching the videos made with mobile phones think they can judge by that a song not by note. Wrong. And absurd! It´s just crappy material gentlemen - stop to put your thumbs up or down just by looking at these

QuoteTopi I will try to get there in the morning in hopes to get a good spot (got a standing ticket). Figure to be at the venue around 10 AM at the latest. I know there will probably be people much earlier than that (even camping out, or is it allowed?) but I've got the Aerosmith concert the night before and will be in needing some sleep too. (My flight from Helsinki on Monday morning leaves

Quotepaulywaul Here's a story I have to share with everybody. As my cousins and I were entering the site, we got held up in a short line of people that were waiting to go through security, because some guy was getting turned inside out and was being asked lots of questions, and the line wasn't moving. We simply moved to another line and 5 minutes later we were in. About an hour l

Quotebv Anyone in security do know that there is a BIG difference in a crowd of 5, 10, 25, 50, 250 and 500. In Paris there were hardly more than 10-15 people, except for the very few last days, where there were 100 at the most. The Stones do love the fans and the publicity, while security have their job to do. I have seen nasty episods where more than 50 people are on site, pushing hard in front

QuoteRichard from Canada I'm thinking the 1972-73 tour was perhaps the last great one they would do. I say this, not because the later ones were any less in scope, in fact they were often much larger and covered more ground. However I'm thinking that the mystique of the Stones was at its peak around 1972 when there was a deluge of publicity, hype, and craziness by the media. Maybe that&

QuoteAdams Looking at Eventim most concerts are general admission with one ticket price for all the sections. No need for section separation in that case and probably most photos show that situation. Stones concert is different so they will come up with an idea how to do it properly... This is not true. Most of the concerts at Waldbühne have different sections. Prince, The Muse, Neil Young, th

While you all sorting out where and when to go I just want to remember All of the owners of a 10th June-Ticket: "Waldbühne" is by far one of the greatest outdoor locations worldwide to see the Stones. May be Hollywood Bowl & Greek Theatre in L.A. are in this region. But even they can´t compare with the mixture of mightyness & intimity of the "Waldbühne". So looooo

I go for it like on every stadium-gig: book my hotel, book my flight (all done days ago). And then buying my FOS at the stadium on show day. With max. 10-20% higher price.
