The big Waldorf & Stadler-Section in iorr when it comes to touring: 1. Level: Why don´t we have any information? 2. Level: Why don´t they start in my country/state/town? 3. Level: Why don´t they have a better setlist? 4. Level: Will Mick Taylor be on? 5. Level: Why he plays only two songs? 6. Level: Keith made a mistake in minute 4:03 during MR last night! 7. Level: What will be the

For DJ´s in the late 70ies and early 80ies "Shattered" was always a funny risky choice. If you had a full dancefloor full of wild dancing people the croud went even more crazy when you put on the song. And just one day later all left the dancefloor for toilet and drinks. "Shattered" is a crazy little pearl.

Quotestonehearted Initially he was in stable condition, and it was only later that he took a turn for the worse. At any rate, the show must go on, much the way Townshend and Daltrey took to the stage just 2 days after Entwistle died. They could have cancelled that whole tour, but that would have meant that all the roadies and vendors, and the people who drove the trucks to transport the staging a

Just a thought: I´m a fan since 42 years. My band is still touring. Is still putting out new songs. Is still selling out arenas and stadiums. Is still making millions of fans worldwide nervous about a may be coming up tour/concert. My heart made a good decision in 1970 (- when I was 9 and listening to "Get Yer Ya Ya´s Out" for the very first time.)

Wonderful Lady. Great live performer. Fantastic attitude on stage. Dave Brubeck was the king of jazz piano. She was the Queen.

For all of us who entered the "Stones tour-planet" during the 81/82 tour, the "Under my thumb" opener was the step into a new dimension: Beeing addicted for the rest of your life. An try to see them as often as you can on the rest of the 81/82-tour and all tours which came after that. It was the kick off of the "new" Stones: Stadiums through the world Big s

31 years ago, somewhere during the European Tour '82. Fan 1: What do think Mick will do at 70? Fan 2: Living in St. Tropez, collecting art, attending at events from time to time. Fan 1: I have a dream: When he is turning 70 and he is just returning from a very successful US-Tour, with 18 packed concerts, performing over two hours in each of them, still with Keith, Charlie

DONT´t read the live comments. It´s a drag. It is occupied mostly by terrible complainers. The muppets show had two old men - waldorf & stadler - on the balcony. IORR seems to have thousand of thousands. 1. They hate any setlits of any show! 2. They hat any guest on any show! 3. They hate any songchange on any setlist. 4. They hate the audience in the venues on the tour. 5. They

May be it was because this time they could concentrate on a little amount of shows. And concentrate their power fully on a very recuced tour-schedule. Without havin the weight of a 200 concerts-Tour to follow in their mind, they were free to put all their power in each of those only 5 gigs.

770. Re: 1981
Virgin Priest, on every tour their was an image. You can put the 1981/82 tour in your list and call it the Sober-Family-Friendly-Tour (Mick dressed as a pop-baseball-player, Keith clean playing with frist time with naked arms ever, stage design colourful, stylish, very modern for the start of the 80ies decade). So of course their was an image: The new friendly Stones for the whole Family:

Mick is definetely on this site. During the Forty Licks tour I talked to his IT-Assistent - a guy who has the task to check everything which is in the web about the Stones. And trained Jagger to surf trough the net. I met him before the show in Barcelona, backstage in the Stadi Olympic, Juli 29th 2003. He just came back from his a regular web-meeting with Mick Jagger 1 hour before showtime.

Having a relationship means going through doors every 6 years. You fall in love. You start to go together. And then someday after your first years comes the first big door. The next chapter is waiting. The next chapter of your relationship. But as you are at the end of your first chapter you are exhausted sometimes. You have the feeling your love is gone. And you fear that it might be ove

Gohabs, good you bring this subject up. And you are right. We should be cool and take the band and the fact that they are still around as a gift. But because they are so alive and active (their last band recordbreaking tour is just 4 years ago!) we as their fans are active and alive too. And being this we sure talk about everything that matters. Positive things and negative things. WE love th

This is a wonderful song. Which represents the mid seventies-Stones very well. Yes it is a soft ballad. But made in way just the Stones could do it.

Dear addicted, relax: I was on this site from 1994 to 2008 and I just came back to this site with a new name. You sound a bit paranoid. In the beginning of this site we just had cool fans here. Well... At least we like the same band. Take care. C.
