It's a very vocal and very small minority here leading the outrage. It costs, what, $35 to see him at Blueberry Hill? And the PBRs are $3 when you get there? I've spent more on crappy dinners on a Monday, and I've been less happy with shows that cost more. Every show sells out, everyone has fun (Chuck first and foremost), and it's an awesome venue. I've been twice and nev

I saw Chuck a couple times recently, flew to St. Louis both times and was glad that I did. At one of them, he started reciting poetry for about 5 minutes, and it must have been improvised. It was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever heard. Wish I recorded it. If you love Chuck Berry go see him while you have the chance.

I tried numerous times to enter my (US) MasterCard, and the system wouldn't take it. I opted to wire them the money, however that works. In any case, I'm on the floor for Berlin.

I am seriously thinking about doing Singapore. Coming from NYC, I might as well hit Shanghai since I'd have come so far. Do you guys just call the airline and have them arrange the multiple stops?

It makes sense to me that it would be difficult for Ronnie to do the Faces with the Stones still active (if on hiatus), regardless of any Rod Stewart nonsense. 2015 sounds right to me for the Stones world tour to have ended, thereby probably ending their career as a touring band, creating a wide open door to get into the Faces again.

Quotejoshbg2k This list corresponds to the slide and pick I got from him at one of the Iridium shows. Correction, I double checked and the pick is a .88mm Dunlop as pointed out by someone else.

Had 201 Row P for Vegas. As soon as we walked in we went straight into section 1, 5th row maybe. Dead center. Our row was almost empty, must have been reserved as comps or something. I couldn't believe that not more 85ers came down, there was plenty of room.

Food for thought - if they had told us that some $85s would be limited/obstructed view, I wonder if they would have sold more regular price tickets. I would have taken that into account.

Why not post a picture so we can compare it to other examples that have been posted?

Quotekowalski Depending on which remaster. The one from the 90s is by far the best to my ears. Also the last year SACD reissue of IORR features the original master tape version of Fingerprint File which runs at normal speed. Worth getting as well. The SACD also has the long outro by Charlie on Time Waits for No One. This is my go-to version of this album now.

2 tickets for the sold out party bus. Departs from Hammerstein Ballroom at 6pm tomorrow. BYOB. Drop off right in front of the Prudential Center. Since it's so late, we'll have to do it via PayPal, tickets are electronic and transferable. joshua (dot) k (dot) berry (at) gmail.com

If anyone has a pit ticket for Brooklyn, how is section info described on the ticket? I may have a lead on a ticket at a fair price but would like to confirm that it's real if possible.

If the tickets are real that is. You won't know that until you try to pass through the turnstile.

Ok here are the signatures. Note that the one in the blue ink is smaller than the one in black. The one in black is large and takes up a significant width of the page.

When I first read this thread, i thought that autopenning just 50 books seemed like a lot of trouble for such a small amount of books. I just looked at my books from the the NYC book event that I attended. I have 2. One of them is almost identical to the poster's signature. Not totally identical, but very similar. Another looks as if it was signed quicker, in a different pen, but no '10
