Yep the Ronnie side gets more action ;-) So you managed to swap your A2 ticket for a pit ticket on the second night, lucky you!

450 people can be in the tongue pit for the London shows, this said a security guard inside the venue to me.

If anyone has a pit ticket for Brooklyn, how is section info described on the ticket? I may have a lead on a ticket at a fair price but would like to confirm that it's real if possible.

Can you go out of it,, say if you feel it too crowdy, and come back after? Do you have to ask permission to the security guys? I never try it because I fear being claustrophobic.I hate being locked, even there is space to move.

As we can see on the pictures, the Tongue PIT is different than the Superbowl stage.

First of all, where is the BEST place to be inside the Tongue? Front row? Near the lips?? In the center??

Is the view good from everywhere??

Did the Stones walk all around the stage, especially in the "lips"?

And how do we enter in the tongue?????

Thank you for your answers!!

I stayed towards the back/towards one side of the stage. Plenty of room.

Stones came around and Mick and keith were like 2 feet away as the edge sort of dipped down

Easy to get in and out during the show to get a beer.

Fantastic experience

No worries. You'll get a wristband so you can come and go as you like.

From where I was in Chicago, close to and looking down on the pit, I would have said about half that, as well. With plenty of room at the back, as also mentioned.

This thread was started late 2012, just for the info, but it is still valid.

All parts of the pit are fine. Some times there are more people than other times. There is space for around 400 people, then it is not really full, but because most people tend to be in the front (guesss why) there is space in the back of the pit. It is a hazzle to find out where to get the wristband so ask around a lot, some times before you go down to the floor, other times on the floor right next to the pit entrance. Most of the ushers would not know because there are so few tickets for the pit. Ask a manager, they have radio and they look important... Don't come late, because many VIP's come late, say 15 minutes before the Stones are on, and then you are stuck in the queue of VIP's without wristbands and fans with wristbands who just went for a final toilet visit. Drink less the last 1-2 hours and more after the show. Stay in the pit one hour before the show start. more relaxing, less stress, more fun.

Enjoy the show!

Thanks BV!
We have VIP pit tix for Melbs and Sydney with 'priority entry'. How early are we let into the pit before regular pit ticket holders ?
Keen to get close to the rail for at least one show.

Seeing how most of Melb Pits were sold as VIP's it won't make much difference

I'm thinking you are right Rockie.

400 of us queuing in the 'priority entry' line.

Well, the SEATED pit in Shanghai is bringing a whole new perspective to the concept. Cannot quite imagine what it's going to be like.

A seated pit! Wtf

That was precisely our reaction, except perhaps it should have been expressed as ............. WTF ?????????????

In other words, a little louder !

Yes it is most bizarre. Stay tuned for reports and pictures (if we can actually get a camera of any description into the venue) on 13th or 14th March after the show.
