I sounds like a fine idea to let the other part speak. It will most certainly not do anything as such, we all know it was a generation-gap-thing anyway, but Pilcher is in his right to tell his side of the story. The evidence lies in front of us: Pilcher was using questionable and illegal methods to grab his victims, which makes him and his team very dishonest. But that does not mean our musica

QuoteJavadave His album covers were more interesting than the easy listening pop instrumental schlock contained in the record grooves. He may have had his 15 minutes, but talk about being relegated to the dust bins of history. 15 years of owning my record shop and maybe one or two sales of his records, if that. R.I.P. Acker Bilk, your records already have been for 50 years. That may be so

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteGazza All this hype for 3 outtakes plus 4 different mixes, 2 instrumental versions and a piano demo of songs that were on the album. Plus a show (albeit a great one) that has now been officially available for nine years. Christ, and I thought the 'Sticky Fingers' deluxe was underwhelming. I know there was a lot of songs listed for these sessions and its u

Fantastic legendary album. For me, Bowie has made way better records, but the impact and the whole mythology regarding the record, is unmatched. Personally I rank Hunky Dory, Station To Station, Low, “Heroes” and Lodger, way higher. But Ziggy is a marvelous album and as a whole, it’s one of those records bigger than life.

Gilmour’s first solo album was awesome. I have enjoyed the rest of them, but the first one was outstanding. However, we all know he needs ‘the other guy’ as much as ‘the other guy’ needs Gilmour.

Quotebuttons67 apparently paul mccartney once said everything the stones did, we done it 11 months earlier. cant ever remember hearing of the beatles doing beggars banquet in 1967 or sticky fingers in 1970, or satanic majesties in 1966, the myth grows every year, its time mick told mccartney where to go, Bull. It was Lennon who said that on his 1970 interview. Go somewhere else with your ch

Quotemaumau paul mccartney was embarassing, guess he gives his best only on a 47 songs setlist performance these days There was a reason why he chose Lady Madonna! The song is about nurses and caretakers. Great song choice, but unfortunately not that greatly performed. Btw. His concerts are of nothing like this.

QuoteTravelinMan QuoteHairball Never really liked Plundered My Soul because of the vocals - both the lead and backup - they just sound wrong for some reason. I did buy a couple of the 7" vinyl singles on Record Store Day, and the best part of it was All Down the Line as the B-side, Nice cover art also: Is the B-side the newer alternate version or the version from the original record

QuoteBashlets Don’t understand business worth shit but you would think the stones could have bought the rights back to their songs years ago from ABKCO. Yes, they were screwed but wouldn’t it be beneficial in the long run to themselves and heirs. Can someone explain this to me in simplistic terms? LOL but confused @Rocky Dijon

Quotethrak I don't get ABKCO releases politics. I know they want to suck our money as long as it's possible. Wouldn't It be better if they put all these extra tracks on bonus cd/vinyl in LIB box? I don't know how many coppies has been sold but i think around 50 000. With an extra disc it wound be 10 times more. I know someday they'll put out all the stuff from the vault b

Quotefrankotero Hmm, yeah this is all great but I continue to have skepticism for ABCKO. Hopefully they do something redeeming in the near future. Again, ABKCO have been forced to make a move like this, as the band themselves have the final say on releasing outtakes.

Quoteblakeeik Where were these when they released the "Super Deluxe 50th Anniversary Edition" of Let It Bleed? disappointing what ABKCO does with opportunities... Blame the band as it’s their decision preventing an official release.

QuoteLynd8 QuoteNikkei typically obnoxious abcko move This is the last straw for me, I will ever give those bastards another cent of my money. These all should have been on the boxed set - so ridiculous You will then have to ban the band’s own releases as well. It’s partly their fault ABKCO will have to make moves like this. Do you really ABKCO would not release these outtakes if they had

Quoteriffcliche69 Bob Dylan’s “ Blood on the Tracks” acetate was released on RSD, and from what I’m told, it was among a handful of titles that fans stood in line overnight for. Abkco, are you listening? Would anyone like to comment on what would be involved in releasing, for example the “Ya-ya’s” or “Let it Bleed” acetates. All fine and dandy, except for the fact that you can’t blame ABKCO. A

A few observations: 1. The track sequencing are a bit different towards the end. It ends with One More Shot. 2. Saint Of Me is the full album version without the crossfade from Out Of Control at the beginning. 3. No Single Versions. 4. The Live Album are better than expected.

Listen to the raw bootlegs. The loudness you are complaining about is not there. It was a decision made at the mastering stage. It has NOTHING to do with Don Was as a producer. Come again when you have learned the basic technical aspects, before dismissing something you don’t know a thing about in the first place.
