The 1969 tour is my alltime favorite. The band was touring the US for the first time in ages with a new guitarist which injected new life into the band. It was the first tour where the audience was actually listening to the music with a longer 70+ minute set and not just a 30 minute set in front of screaming teenage girls. I also think the songs were the perfect tempo rather than the sped u

Anything by ABBA. Never understood why they were so popular. Same with Nirvana. I find most of their music forgettable at best.So many better bands and music from Seattle and that era IMHO.

Quoteohmercy61 Peter wolf for foxboro. Funny you mention him. Last time they played TD Bank North I was standing in the concourse with some friends just rinking a preshow beer and shooting the breeze when Wolf comes walking by with an usher. I asked him if he was going to sing with the Stones and he responded "not tonight maybe tomorrow". I went to both shows that tour and Wolf never

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 Taking the opposite direction form noughties thread, I started thinking about albums where you feel like you know the 'secret' but nobody else sees it. On the one hand you want the rest of the world to see it, on the other hand you kind of enjoy being one of the few in-the-know. (the title sounded good, but now I am actually having to think on this one for a

I scored 4 tix in the 208 section for $168 including fees during the fan presale. Farther away than I normally sit but wanted to take my 13 and 15 year old daugthers so they could experience a Stones concert at least once in their lives. They like the Stones as I have been playing their music for them since they were born so should be a fun family night.

For those out West don't give up if you don't get tix right when the sale starts. TM told me they did not have 4 together initially but 90 minutes later I went back in and got lower seats for $169 each including all TM fees. Keep trying later in the morning and I bet they drop more tix for your show.

Could not get lower level seats for Boston Gillete on initial presale but got another RS.com e-mail with same passcode about an hour and a half in so I figured I might as well take another shot. Was able to score 200 level seats at a decent price Seats are toward the back of the bowl, which I would not normally go for as I like being closer, but at the price my 13 and 14yr old daughters will

QuoteDan Quoteoldschool The Aerosmith meet and greets are nothing new as they have been doing this for years. Last tour I think the cost was $2500.00 which I believe included tix in the first 10 rows or something like that. There used to be pics on the Aerosmith website and Joe Perry looks miserable having to pose with fans. Rarely smiles. I have read he hates those things. Of course he could
