Quotegoingmad QuoteMKjan HD is a great Rolling Stones album with great Jagger vocals. The entire album is great. Pity the critics here lost in their fantasy of being HD’s producer. Not gonna happen, thank god. I agree, great record, great producer.Mick was the driving force behind the album, but the album is so good because it is the result of a collaboration between Jagger and Richards, as th

QuoteGasLightStreet My ratings per song (1-5 *) as of 11-8-2023 in regard to the album - not their discography: Angry ***** - their best single since Start Me Up. Better, actually, because Angry is tuneful and fluid (and some smart ass comments from Mick) whereas Start Me Up is blocks, very chunky. Angry is sharp, crisp, moving, much more melodic and, well, fluid. Great vocals from Mick. Where

QuoteDoxa Quotekeefriffhards Quotepowerage78 I can't wait to read about all HD's - now non-existent - weaknesses when the next album comes out, as this will justify why the new album is better. As with ABB, which was yet the album of the century at the time. As I've stated a few times a few different ways, ten years from now HD will be looked upon as about even to ABB, what giv

RIP Hairball. I sparred with Hairball a few times when I disagreed with his comments about the Stones, but I also saw a wealth of good information on his posts. I noticed his absence here and am sorry to learn of his death. My condolences to his family.

Hackney Diamonds is the best album since which ever one you think it is. There is no score card, and no prizes given out here. Opinions evolve and change over time, so let's check again in about 50 years. Meanwhile, October 20th, a true gift for us. Comparisons, I don't see the point.

QuoteIdorh QuoteMKjan QuoteIdorh I am 76 years old, and Stones fan since 1963. I had and brain attack 2 years ago, fortunately I have recovered well from it so far. I also enjoy life more now, I appreciate it more. It's a gift that I was able to experience this from the Rolling Stones. 80 years old and still so much energy and guitars and voice. His voice fits so much into the 60s, unbeliev

QuoteGasLightStreet MKjan, I think I understand where you're coming from. I respect your position in regarding The Rolling Stones. Just keep in mind - U2 is the first band, regardless of status, yet status at the same time, to play the Sphere. They are excited about the aspects of the entire venue. Of course it's been about the visual - but don't let that be the only

QuoteMisterDDDD QuoteTopi Were any of them named Hairball or Eric? Lol. Not complaining but odd he disappeared as the new music is being released. Hope he's ok.. doesn't appear to be banned. I'm thinking he is busy eating humble pie. The new music by our beloved band was more than he could handle.

QuoteTopi QuoteIrix QuoteTopi Hey Irix, do you like the song? I have to listen to the entire album first. You mean you won't listen to the singles before the whole album is out or that you don't have an opinion on the singles before the whole album is out? I sure hope it's the former and not the latter.

QuoteSpud QuoteBig Al QuoteGreen Lady People are always clamouring for the band to do a residency in Las Vegas - I think if they liked the idea they would have done it by now. Desert air doesn't suit Mick's voice, and I don't think they want to settle down in one spot for the rest of their career. They like touring, and will do it as long as they can. Absolutely, Green Lady. Th

And the cover of the single points in that direction. That would be awesome...a la Shine A Light perhaps. Who cares if it's 7 minutes? Seemed to work for YCAGWYW, Memory Motel and MR. Exactly. In t
