Quotetreaclefingers the review was a bit superficial...don't want to criticize but you started a thread to highlight your review, and it is a bit scant. But CCM kept it short, which is good, so kudos for that. I disagree with his comments on World Keeps Turning - somehow I just don't see that happening

I thought that You Tube had banned big pink cocks, no? Cheap jokes aside, I think this is a great video and a great song. It is fantastic to hear new material from any of the Stones, and this is very listenable. I can't make my mind up if I think Jagger looks ridiculous or great, it's one extreme or the other. It is such a ridiculous outfit that it is probably great, and I will excus

QuoteScooby The UK's Counterfeit Stones are truly awful. I saw them last year, it was like fancy dress karoke. Oh no I disagree, have seen them several times and always enjoyed them. If you ignore the panto bit, they sure can play. Counterfeit Stones get my vote as best tribute act

If the tosh from Exiles re-release is any barometer, I'd settle for a new tour. I have become over-exposed and am actively deleting Stones material from my iPod these days. But a tour is a nice thing; travel, meet old friends, see new places etc

I remember when the CD was first issued, it was around the time that interactive content was starting. There were some "secret" files in the CD that could be played, but it doesn't seem to recognise any more when I insert in to my PC. Does anybody remember what they were?

Wasn't going to, but too many positive posts to ignore. Am just about to buy on iTunes and note that reviewer #3 thinks, "This is the best album i have EVER heard!!!". Posted by somebody called Ronnie Wood. It must be good. Have fun tonight at Ambassadors.

Quotepaulywaul Quotegwen The "System" expired my session when I was cashing out a stalls K something... Then was offered a Circle G... At the moment, stalls K & L are still popping out... Probably cancelled transactions. Try telephoning ..... Nope, well not in my case - they are only taking bookings over the web, no telephone sales

No thanks Ronnie, not at these prices! I might have stretched to £60 - but £85 for the junk seats in the house, £150 for the better ones left after fan club pickings...I know when to put my wallet back in my pocket. Have a good time, I'll enjoy spending my money elsewhere. Or am I mad because I have just drawn a line in the sand about £50 short of having a "great experience" wit

I loved this song on the record, but it seemed to sink badly when they tried it live. Mick couldn't harmonise it very well, and the rap section made you want to look the other way. At least they tried something new with that one, the video looked good too. I have a non-Stones friend who swears this was the best Stones song she ever heard!

QuoteHis Majesty There's more than one. Meta, rolled, etc Shows what little I know, I only had Metamorphosis in mind. Oh well.. BTW His Majesty, you are the fabled Aberdonian (fit like, min?) who unearthed the Capitol gig from 82. I have been trying to contact you offline.

Here is a trivia question: which Stones album features the faces of 6 stones on the front cover (Mick J, Mick T, Keith, Brian, Charlie, Bill)?

QuoteChris Fountain IMO I think a new album is not necessary. Here we go I will be punished for saying that. A Four Licks type tour is ok. You simply can't make people happy. So.. Indeed. Go punish yourself...

Yawn....anybody who has followed recent Stones tours could predict this sort of format. When there is fact, and credible source please share it, otherwise this sounds way too much like wishful thinking. And let me guess, the finale will be the Olympics London 2012?

QuoteJJHMick Rocks Off. When listening to it first, lifted the needle after the intro three or four times because I couldn't believe it. Then heard the song complete three times in a row before going on to song 2 and the rest. Never experienced such a thing before and after. I remember this song from the Licks Tour and wondering how I had never rated it that much before. Indeed this is a c

It is a question I have been asked a few times over the years, but I only now feel confident to answer. For me, it has to be Star Star (ok, Starfcuker). It has everything a stones song should have: the Chuck Berry riff, the attitude, some tongue-in-cheek lyrics, a great pace and a song that just sounds better every time I hear it. This does surprise a lot of non-Stones friends who of course have

QuoteTornandfrayed It would be great without the horrible backup singers, esp. Lisa Fisher who sounds like a parody of the great Mary Clayton. Her singing is so over the top, it´s ridiculous. She totally ruins every "Vegas-era" version of this song. I think Keith's expression at 3:26 suggests he likes Lisa's contribution. I love this moment. It is a great version, but i also
